Teacher found guilty of lesbian sex with student, 14.

My favourite parts of this are:

"When the girl's parents discovered the couple in bed, they asked that the bedroom door be left open." Presumably so they could watch.

"Mr Fuller told the jury the pair participated in a menage a trois with a man in the back of Thompson's ute." .. is that some kind of FFM variation on a spit roast?

Sold out at £6 a bar ... the tastebud sensation that's a mix of milk chocolate and smoky bacon
Now, however, confectioners have combined the two in the world's first bacon chocolate bar. And it is proving a major success with British customers.

Syl, I had a trailing slash on that link, for some strange reason, prolly coz I suck at teh internet. Fixed it now even though Mr Piano had kindly posted the right one.

From my crappy Left Handers calendar

"Left-hander Iuliana Semenova of the former Soviet Union is the tallest (almost 7'2") and heaviest (284 pounds) female Olympic gold medalist of all time."

Before she was married, Cally in Battlestar Galactica was called Callandra Henderson.
Posted by Saltation, 3 years ago:

yer shittin, right?

i'd been about to follow on from your post with an agonising cal pun re running away to get married. then i realised i'd muddled merry-go-round with steam-driven piano.
which would have ruined the joke.
so i didn't.
Posted by WarHead, 3 years ago:

This must be the ultimate bad luck.
Posted by Saltation, 3 years ago:

yeah. imagine being married to a drowned chick.

Christ on a bike, I only just heard that George got fired from Flickr .

For once I'm lost for words.

Who?
Posted by WarHead, 3 years ago:

George Oates.
Posted by Grim..., 3 years ago:

Sorry, that was more of a "so?" than a "who?". Do you know her, or something?
Posted by WarHead, 3 years ago:

Not personally, but I wouldn't have expected her to be sacked from Flickr any more than I would Cal.
Posted by syl, 3 years ago:

Yes, that is a shock.
Posted by che, 3 years ago:

I read that link you posted yesterday warhead, as I didn't know who George Oates was.

It's only today reading your last comment that I realise George Oates is a woman.

Posted by WarHead, 3 years ago:

Posted by che, 3 years ago:

Posted by Saltation, 3 years ago:

it's friggin freaky, isn't it?

"once a month, at the height of the full moon, i turn into a baron, and roam the dark barren moors and narrow city alleyways, howling drunk, SNUBBING people."

I want to own a small piece of land and a pub.

That way, I can sign all letters and emails and things, without fear of contradiction or clarity:

Franzini concurs, stating that there is as yet no research that has determined the percentage of people who are actually laughing out loud when they write "LOL".

The most popular ones were Sentry Gun and the Teleportation shots. But all our recipes were very well-received. We encourage you to give them a try - but please credit us if you do!

my favourite is "The Drink is a Lie"
Posted by Saltation, 3 years ago:

axeman: superb. but the wikipoids are bound to delete it, surely?
they delete reams of merely useful or interesting facts they don't like, after all.
Posted by WarHead, 3 years ago:

I've just realised that the Titicaca photo is wrong, as it has a picture of a PAIR of breasts, implying that the place is actually called Titititicaca.

To summarise, there's one titi too many.

And THAT'S not something I have to say very often.
Posted by Meatwood Flack, 3 years ago:

Actually, that LOL thing seems to have a reference from a reliable source, so maybe it won't be deleted for a while...
Posted by WarHead, 3 years ago:

What's up, Doc?
Posted by Saltation, 3 years ago:

wh: ttoo mmanny tittis? nnott posssible!

doc: fingers crossed! wikipedia is currently undergoing a wave of self-righteous virtue-seeking via the red pen. the "mere" intra-article carnage of deletion has been accelerating exponentially over 2008 and is now entering fever-pitch. no longer just intra-article wholesale deletions by people with no knowledge of the topic, let alone english; for months now, whole articles of long standing are being deleted left-right-n-centre.

eg: Foamy (eg Stigmata in my EYE!) got deleted in-toto this year (twice) as "a web comic". therefore not "notable".
DESPITE HIS SQUIRRELY WRATH!!!

insufficiently high status, you see, for status-seekers.

the great thing about aliased sprites is that they're identical every time. fairly easy to splice. the trick here seems to be that on the transitions he ends up slightly out of place, but is jumped back during the next move sequence
Posted by Grim..., 2 years ago:

True, but they're only identical when he's changing to the 'same' Ryu, if you see what I mean. But bah, enough of the science! That's an ace video =]
