I'm an Indian. From this place called "Gods own land" (to which I disagree, A LOT) otherwise known as Kerala. But since I don't know any Indian languages (I know only English and French), they don't consider me Indian. Amusing.

Yeah, it's tough to keep up with your mother tongue when you're in a foreign country. I'm quite ashamed that I've never leart to speak Italian or Dutch. I speak Afrikaans which is quite similar to Dutch. Is Hindi quite difficult to learn? Maybe you can do some courses. Do you follow the Hindu religion? I'm not religious but I like some things about the Hindu religion like the respect for animals.

we apologise for this place being so quiet, it used to be very busy but everyone fell asleep.
maybe we should tell you a few things about the site? although having read some of the other threads definitely means you should be approved :D
1. most people here are 1 person each, but the rest of them are all the Doc
2. he is Cal, but he's not here that often
3. Cal invented the internet
4. I have never met Cal but I have met some of the others, hence being pregnant
5. we're a pretty international bunch, quite a few from the uk but some Brits have also moved to other countries. I don't think we have had anyone from India before though.
can't think of anything else for the moment, I need food.
@syl: I am not really ashamed about it but yes, I would have liked to have learnt it at some point but yeah it's kind of tough. I'm not really interested in it but I do know some excellent swear words :D I'm not Hindu, I'm a Christian (protestant) though it's been a couple of weeks since I last went to church. Not all that religious either, you can say. I don't know much about the Hindu religion. We have a huge time difference between us I guess. It's 10:19 am here now and I just woke up but I guess it's like 2:19 am there.
@miki: Thanks for the info and yeah I'd like to be approved :)
I can't think of anything ATM either but maybe I'll just randomly add in that I love cats :D

Yeah cats are awesome. My mum doesn't like 'em so I can't have one. I can't say I like any kinda reptile or insect but as you said I'll still defend them as long as I don't have to go near :)

I could use some help but don't feel like opening a new thread for it so here goes:
on a (technically lame) forum I have a topic (say 80 pages long)
I want to save this topic for the future
contrary to other forums I can't save the whole topic in one go, I can just save one page at a time
so I've done that and now I have a folder with 80 .mht files
(a lot of work yes, but I'm still on maternity leave so there you go)
does anyone know a way to stick these 80 files together into one file so reading it won't be a pest?

The trouble with Iamcal is that It used to have lots of people talking all day everyday, then everyone, including me left, then everyone else checks it less. I think that we need Vic back, then Sul, AP and che to talk more :P
