I have removed everybody from my Facebook account, so please don't be offended. (Not that anybody cares about me anyway) I am spending too much time on Facebook...I've got a few family members now and that's it. Facebook is just so damn addictive, isn't it?

I need to do that. Only kept it to keep in touch with family, but our family setup went massively tits-up over the span of the last two years and all the worst of it is unfolding on there. For "family political" reasons I have to stay on it, but only use it to stay in touch with technophobic friends. Otherwise can't bear the place - it's all baby scans, casual racism against Muslims and Farmville on there these days.

I had already blocked all the games, even though I myself was a Farmville addict for a while. Glad I kicked *that* habit. AP what do you mean your family setup went tits-up?

I haven't been on FB for over 2 years now, although i did miss it at first and my friends seemed to forget i existed for a while, it seems they're now doing the same. I barely miss it at all now!

Syl: Too much to go into here, plus some of it is too bad to discuss publically.

casual racism against Muslims and Farmville

I hate people who are racist against Farmville.

I'm totally hooked on it. But I think that's because I don't have the patience to have a blog any more, so it's a bit easier to put rants / links up there where people can see them.

Saying that, if I didn't have a job that involved looking at a computer screen all day I think I'd break the habit pretty fast.

@Syl - you weren't one of them. Sul, BG, WH, Delores & Rosie all vanished and have all come back. I did't look to see if anyone (non-iamcal) was missing. I only noticed it because Che's christmas card came through to lots of people called "facebook user"

@Syl - Facebook is a communications tool like a mobile phone or iamcal discussions. I don't live on it (too busy running around after kids) but it does allow me find out what my friends who haven't had kids are doing :-) Oh, and to be in the Mafia.

Yeah, I blocked all the games too. I blocked a lot of people from B3ta. I'm going on an internet fast. Feel like I'm getting sucked into it and it's taking over my life.
