"My real concern is: How many people - black and white - are suffering from Injustice in this country? How many black people are being arrested just because they are black? How many black people police arrest but would not prosecute, not to allow them to defend themselves in a court of law? How many people police, in complicity of a social worker and a psychiatrist, have been ordered to be detained in a mental hospital under totally false allegations? In Every single Government Department there is injuustice; they are Authoritarian - which of course affect both black and white people. I have been suffering from all these since April 1993. Since 1995, I have been a prisoner in my own home, because of the police, unable to go out anymore. I shudeer to think what will happen to me, physically and mentally, if for the rest of my life I cannot go out at al, but I am being refused to the right to defend myself in a Court of Law. If there is anyone who is suffering from injustice from the Govenment, the Police or the Social Services, I would ask you to click on humanrightsuk and then you can become a member and put your cases on it as well. The more people we can get, the better chance we will have to resolve these roblems. Thank you. France Chorley"

"The real true story of how if not challenged and taken to Court a local council would have taken up to 3 or 4 times the correct amount of money due from it's leaseholders, for works to it's housing stock. With the real threat that many vulnerable people could have potentially lost their homes based upon accounting that was horrendously and stupendously riddled with mistakes of tens of thousands of £'s. The story is live and ongoing and although the court case has not yet been heard this local council has already conceded more than half it's original claim when the court ordered the realease of documents for the leaseholders to examine.. more updates constantly added "

Finding This London Life by John Daniel Thomas
Stations: Hackney Central
"I’m John, a man struggling through life in London, circa 2009. I do a boring admin job, with moments of brief interest, and spend most of my days whiling away dreamy hours on Facebook and Gmail, buying things online and looking out the window. I then drag home and watch endless repeats and DVDs of US TV shows, or meet friends and get drunk to erase the banal hopelessness of it all. I am a frustrated writer, but I never actually write anything. Well, on 22 October 2009 I decided to turn my life around, and turn that frown upside down (so to speak). From this day forth, I will arrive promptly at my desk every morning, work diligently until lunchtime (without touching FB or Gmail), and try to leave on time at 5.30. In the evenings I will go out there and see what is so fantastic about this city we are living in, and I will take my full lunch hour, to myself, to write this blog and tell the world how this London everyman is getting on."

Tuesday Maybe likes fashion and the aesthetic arts, lives fashion and the aesthetic arts, and will use them to give her blog some cohesion where her brain can supply none. Tune in for a celebration of all those who are at the avant garde of London life and who know how to make a city breathe. "
