I have been using flickr and been a pro user for ages, as is everyone here
and yes I have been breaking the rules, because the linkback code does not work in forum posts so I have been using the direct link.
Naughty me, but there is no other way to get it to work as far as I know.

Now they've taken the direct link away, without providing a solution

We understand that many people were using that link on message boards to show their images and we are working on a solution that will allow you to post using BBCode (standard message board code) that links back.

That means I'm going to have to find another place to upload my pictures to.
Unless any of you know a solution?

you can get the link from the all sizes page, no?

or just as part of the html from the 'Share This' -> 'Grab the HTML'

they have removed it from the new all sizes page
but you are right, the static location is still part of the grab html linky
