I'd say a gift in others but a curse in me, I'm not saying I'm super intelligent, but as most of my friends will tell you i think faaaaaar too much.

I prefer intelligence in people though, coz i can't stand dull, useless dumb people (ie 85 - 90% net users - so it's a good job this sites here).

Obviously not having a penis makes you blind to the obvious advantages:

The ability to be bald and still attractive!

Lines and wrinkles only add to our character, they just add to a woman's age I'm afraid.

i recommmend getting a digital camera - i haven't used my scanner since i got it :)

Ah now, whilst i'd love a digital camera for 'popping-off' quick pix, I studied photography and have a high level of expectation when I shoot 'proper' pictures. Unless I spent a VAST amount of cash, I wouldn't get a digital equivelent of my SLR which could produce equal quality results and allow me the same control over exposure, focus, depth of field, lens choice, etc etc etc. Am I waffling? Yes. You'll see why I love my 'old fashioned' film camera in my next update - lots of mono pix I did at college and more from recently in Paris, all of which I've been meaning to put on tml from day one. I'm so lazy ;) Ok, stop talking now James...

i know about real photography too, but there's something about always having a camera with you to catch moments. and knowing it wont cost to develop the pictures. throw-away photography.

I read this article once from an artist, a paint and canvas artist, who talked about his love affair with digital media, and how for a while he neglected the canvas because well, with digital media it's so much easier to undo your mistakes etc, if you don't like something.

But he also pointed out it makes you sloppy in a way.. because it's so easy to undo..

I would love to learn about real photography... I once learned how to develop negatives, but that was a loooong time ago, and it was for electron microscopy anyway, ie not that much use..

Cool - developing and printing your own pictures isn't hard (mono) - but having the equiptment and space is a tricky one. Need a "light-tight" room and stuff, difficult in your bedroom at home! You have to have a dedicated place really, otherwise it's a chore setting up. I've never done any dev'ing or printing at home. If you're really interested, try looking around at local colleges, get on a course just to use the kit After I finished my course in Photogrpahy, I still went in once a week just to use the all kit, they let me because i'm an ex-student. No money changed hands. Which is nice.

My girlfriend has a darkroom and (mono) developing kit. It's very satisfying to take proper photos, develop the film and enlarge the prints. Very satisfying indeed.

I don't really know anything at all about photography.. no clue on composition etc..

I do want a digital camera, just so I can mess around with stuff like that and get better without it costing me an arm and a leg..

forwards or backwards?

I know a few good ways to go forward in time, but backwards is a very VERY difficult thing to do. to go backwards in time, the only way you'd be able to do it is utalising wormholes or cosmic strings, wormholes being the easist one of the two. Slthough youd only be able to go back to the time the wormhole was originally created.

I could go in depth about this but I wont.

Forwards is very easy, all you need is a really good rocket that travels quite fast and can reach some kind of object in space with a big gravitational pull, easy in theory.

I also think washing machine drums are the answer to all time travel problems.
