My idea of a soul mate is someone with whom you are emotionally, intellectually and sexually compatible — which is different than a clone. Often, people try to pick their mates based on some preconceived checklist. Which I believe will get you know where fast. You can’t find the right person when you have a long list to compare them to. We are not perfect we all have flaws.
Instead, they should be looking for people with whom they feel emotionally connected: people who touch their heart and spirit.” I feel that a potential soul mate’ “rightness” may not necessarily be evident from the get-go. In fact, a person will probably not share all the same likes, dislikes, opinions and values (although you will probably strongly share a basic sensibility; hence the feeling between soul mates that they’ve “known each other forever”). Soul mates genuinely excite each other, on various levels, and find each other’s flaws ultimately acceptable if perhaps maddening at times.
Just because someone has the potential to be your soul mate doesn’t mean that they will be without a lot of work and forgiveness on both partners’ parts. A person simply would not meet someone with whom you have no problems or issues and live happily ever after. All couples experience conflict. My mom used to say “there is no perfect love, you have to work for it”.
The difference to me between a soul mate and a non-match is that a soul mate will be able to communicate with a person about the negative or uncomfortable issues that arise, without feeling that the entire relationship is thrown into jeopardy from such confrontations.
Soul mates may diverge in hobbies and politics, but they allow and respect each other’s feelings and opinions. The sex may not be celestially perfect from day one; soul mates are willing and able to learn to better gratify each other.
I believe that I have found my “Soul Mate”.Although I love him with all my heart and soul, I think a relationship would tear what we have in shreds. He will always hold a special place in my heart and I hope he knows that. You don’t always end up with the one you think you will. Love my surprise you.
What are your thoughts?

honestly? there is no such thing.. there are perfect people at perfect times in your life, but most people don't have the willingness to grow and change with the person they're with, so you grow apart, and become someone else..

Nah, there is someone for everyone, just finding the patience to also grow with them is the problem...

Think about the world logistically. There are 6 billion people. If only one person is meant to be your soulmate then the chances of finding them are so infitesimbly small, that everyone in the world would be unhappy (ok, they are, but nevermind). So in reality, there are loads of "right people" and no one is right to begin with. You've just got to have that 'spark' and work from there. But perhaps the idea of a soulmate is a match which requires no day-to-day work. Hmm
I didn't say that you would only have one soulmate in your life. There could be many. Relationships are a work in progress. You have to work at them and nourish them ... just like you would your body.
Biddy: I was in deep thought yesterday .... because I think I did meet my soul mate .... but I am in a long term relationship ... have been for 9 years .... but yet I felt like I have known this person for life ... and I can't get him off my mind. I guess it is that damn cowboy hat he wears and the fact that he and I have the same values and morals. Plus he is a hottie! :P

mo's stupids translator is a work of genius. it translates from english to another language then back, scrambling your page.
Biddy: The perosn I am with does not want to marry me and has no intentions of doing so. Does that answer your question?
I have been holding on ... but there isn't much left to hold on to. Without Trust there can be no love or relationship. He wants to lock me in a cage .... but yet he can roam freely. I refuse to be locked in a cage.

awwww sweet bitter, twisted Suzie.
I don't think I would marry at this time. I am sure that I will meet "the one", in a way I think I found him ... cause I just can shake him.
Here is a little poem I wrote about .....
Lost
I ponder this conclusion with sadness
that hides deep within me
To find myself here content, wrapped
within your comfort .... Lost
My body, mind and soul
all self absorbed in this
childless arrangement
shouldn't I feel ashamed
should I be punished with the
scarlet A .... all these questions
Lost
Not a care runs through me
as I lay wrapped beneath your warmth
all I want is your gentle touch , a kiss upon
my breast ... anything to hold this moment
forever ..... so lost
Everything here and now .... all is lost
where am I , where are you
Just want to be with .... I'm such a fool
to have these feelings
so very lost within you.

Sul, you wouldn't love me if I wasn't twisted.
Besides, I think I'm the only married one here, so I get to say what marriage is like so there.
