Title: parachutes
Artist: coldplay
Rating: 5/5

with harmonic melodies, acoustic guitar, and great vocal range, coldplay will slightly remind you of radiohead, but with a style all of their own. my favorite song off this disc would have to be "spies," which has a rise and fall so catchy that you'll be hitting the repeat button over and over again.

That is a great album!

The singer of Coldplay does have a unique voice. Their style can definitely be clumped into the Radiohead-ish genre, but they do have their own sound. Of course, the singer is the flavor.

Now, "Travis" -- that's a band who smacks a little too much of Radiohead.... they have a few good songs though.

ah i love "parachutes" :) and i love coldplay! they do not sound like radiohead....radiohead are really depressing; coldplay are very optimistic. i think my favourite song on that album is "sparks". and you should get the "blue room" ep, it's extremely good.

i can chalk that one up to inattentiveness on my part. i meant for it to be rated 5/5, so it's good how it is. :)
