Here's a topic for pop trivia. It's pretty simple. People post questions. People answer questions.

Not necessarily in that order. Got some pop trivia questions? Then post away. I'll start us off:

Since we've got a lot of Radiohead fans here, which Radiohead track aludes to thom's nocturnal fruit obsession?
Posted by zxenor, 18:35, 8th February 2002:

paranoid android?
Posted by cal, 18:45, 8th February 2002:

nope. you'll have to try harder than that
Posted by Sul, 00:16, 9th February 2002:

I've no idea on the Radiohead question but I have a new one.

Which group dragged up a member of the great all girl punk band "the Donnas" (unknowing of who she was) and seronaded her at one of their gigs?
Posted by DeSoto, 01:45, 9th February 2002:

This is just a guess at the Radiohead question: Would it be Banana Co?

I haven't a clue to the Donnas question...

To keep with the music trivia: What frontman used to have his road manager clean his feet with Perrier water after every concert? (
Posted by chris, 01:50, 9th February 2002:

I know the Radiohead one!!
Posted by cal, 15:06, 9th February 2002:

ooh ooh ooh - i can't answer either of those.
Posted by luke, 12:51, 10th February 2002:

I think the answer to the Donnas question is that hideous american boy band O-Town

Ain't got a clue about the other questions though :)
Posted by Sul, 17:09, 10th February 2002:

*does the give us a clue "you got it" to luke*

still no Idea on the others. The perrier one aint Mick Jagger is it?
Posted by chris, 17:43, 10th February 2002:

Guess which 'type' of music makes vic want to drive spiky things through his own scrotum into the desk below.
Posted by Govan, 22:30, 10th June 2003:

Sal: that bird from Babes in Toyland.

Which rock/industrial band refuse to play Glasgow on the grounds that last time they were here all the stage crew at the Barras stole their drugs, laughed at their makeup, threatened them with bodily violence and generally made their lives hell?
Posted by Redmaiden, 22:43, 10th June 2003:

Would that be dance music Victor?

Erm dude, have you forgotten about the fact that i have not listened to the radio or watched anything about music on tv since 1999? there is too much crap on it, I learn my music from just finding it or being told about it

Posted by Rosie, 11:01, 13th June 2003:

Ermm - I'm not really sure chay. They play all different types of music and then they take the mick out of them and stuff. They also have features like "cheeky freak of the week" and "monkey news".

I really need to get this bladder thing sorted. I told my mum about me pissing myself when I laugh and she said not to worry about it. (providing it was only a small amount of urine). But bear in mind this is the same women who told me I had elephantitis when it was really rough skin on my elbows.
Posted by beargod, 11:05, 13th June 2003:

there's nothing wrong with crying
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 16:15, 13th June 2003:

I think crying should be kept for serious occasions, people who bubble at the drop of a hat should stop it.

Posted by arsepuppy, 14:52, 14th June 2003:

Did I mention anything about your taste in music? No. It was about your wording, which I found funny.

So don't be a dick FFS.

I don't like to "dictate" what others listen to. TBH, I listen to some varied stuff, most of which people will laugh at. But guess what?? I DON'T CARE.

I've really had enough of this bullshit now.
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:55, 14th June 2003:

yeah of course they were all whiter than white, never a harsh word uttered werent they.

Posted by chandler, 11:28, 16th June 2003:

"I so want to beat the living shit out of you, dude."

mmm how respectful ap is.
Posted by beargod, 11:28, 16th June 2003:

just take the mick out of yourself if people are doing the same, it has got me far in this life
Posted by chandler, 11:28, 16th June 2003:

that was cos i said i happened to like a certain singer.
Posted by beargod, 11:31, 16th June 2003:

so a perfect thing to take the mick out of yourself you little girl
Posted by beargod, 11:32, 16th June 2003:

but I have to also praise you dude, if AP is gone for a long time, I might be able to pass him on the posting thing
Posted by beargod, 11:33, 16th June 2003:

and Sull and vic and then you have to scare of cal and then yourself and I will be top man, I mean you have already nearly got rid of Grim...
Posted by chandler, 11:33, 16th June 2003:

thats true.
Posted by chandler, 11:48, 16th June 2003:

though actually i think ap was really after grim... funny that, pot calling the kettle and all that.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 12:07, 16th June 2003:

I have something to say regarding this 'pish':

AP, Sul and Vic all give just as much 'agro' (not meant bad) as Chay, myself, BG, in fact any and everyone. So, them taking the huff and leaving because of what was said is rather...well, rather childish. Also, I have always been taught that if you are going to slag people then you must be able to take it back.

I have seen nothing totally out of order..so, to be honest, i am dissapointed in people i (foolishly??) thought were decent, strong, cool people.

Maybe i am wrong here, if so then so be it.

Foggie has said his peace, now i am away to drink H2O
Posted by beargod, 12:12, 16th June 2003:

H2O is good. I don't think there is ever a cool person, there are however friends... and this is pointless, what I am saying
Posted by chandler, 12:12, 16th June 2003:

id also like to admit that im a tosser.
:/
i know i've done bad things.
i did say nasty things,
(though im not the only one - and yes i know that is no excuse)
though i do feel i was provoked

and now everyone hates me :(

anyway, there we go

nevermind, its not the end of the world
Posted by beargod, 12:17, 16th June 2003:

it might be
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:23, 16th June 2003:

I gave my reasons for leaving to Cal, real-life-based reasons. Chay's kidding himself if he thinks he's completely responsible.

But yeah, the music thread... I never took the piss out of Chay's taste, just the way he worded his argument. Which was very dadlike and funny. He has a go at me, and is quite malicious about it, and when I retaliate, he edits his posts positively in his favour to look good.

And I was very pissed off about the whole fluent Welsh/career in MacDonalds jibe

He was given a bollocking for good reason.

His conduct since all this is sad as well. He's trying to play the good guy here, slagging off people now they're gone (Sul springs to mind here), trying to get sympathy etc. He's digging himself a hole here. It will bite him in the arse. Being a childish, bitter little fuck isn't going to help him.

[SELF:EDIT]

Anyway, I'm not going back on my word, I have left. That's it.

thats not good, Cal has banned chay now, so you could come back without him here

Cal please don't ban me for this if you really want you can edit it or anyone else who takes offence to this aswell ask me to edit it but chay wanted to say a few last words, which I will say now, and have either read or forgotten or couldn't be bothered to read

chay says: actually i said something bad about sul today cos when i offered a gesture of peace yesterday and invited him to our MSN conversation he called me everything under the sun and then blocked me. as for ap leaving, he gave me no other reason to think he had left apart from what i had done. im glad to know that it wasnt just what i had written as i didnt think it could have been just that. i didnt edit my posts to look positive. i edited them cos i felt genuinely guilty about what i had said, so when i reread them i realised they needed editing.

oh and a hole cant bite you in the arse
"And I was very pissed off about the whole fluent Welsh/career in MacDonalds jibe" did he ever consider that i found the whole Milhouse thing very hurtful, and he did that repeatedly

Please don't be an apologist for him. What happened has happened. We should start over now.

yes but he is still my friend AP, has been for a couple of years, so I can't really ignore him

I can respect that, but you shouldn't be posting for him. It negates what's happened. Just my two pee.

But I'm not asking you to comprimise your friendship, don't worry.
