Poll:
- rules!
- sucks!
- is renown for its terrible accent. Ugh!
How content is everyone with where they live? Bedford a bore? London full of life?
Definately #3 for Brummieland...

bedford sucks, london rocks and birmingham is renowned for its terrible accent :)
I live in Fairfax Virginia..and it is great. I am only about 1/2 hour away from Adams Morgan, Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria and DC. So, there is always lots to do.

I live in Okinawa, Japan.
I may have enjoyed it at one point. That's long since passed though.
I've gotten exposure to a lot of things I wouldn't have otherwise encountered.... and that's been great...
But I'm more than ready to pack up and move on.

My area isnt too bad if you dont count the breakins, drug abuse, outragously high car theft, dumping of cars, arson, armed robberey and cashpoint theft.

ell, 19:11, 19th February 2002:
You mean any of that you're
not responsible for?
Does ANYONE actually like Bedford? (Not me!)
taxon: Didn't realise we had anyone here who lived as far as Japan! cool!

reitsma: I was being told about kings cross in syndey tonight. A friend of mine got 2 tatoos around there when off her tits and was telling me how it was like a little vegas, only no casinos and alot of strip clubs. It sounded great!
Posted by
reitsma, 00:59, 20th February 2002:
um... that pretty much sums it up.
for a sex-centric lifestyle, i guess the cross is where to be.
not the safest neighbourhood... but definitely interesting.
haven't been there much myself...

i live in Chelsea Michigan, but i used to live in Leicester, England. Verge led me to the sight. Cheerio!
Living in Houston, TX, until August, when I'm moving to College Station, TX, for college. I like it, but Texas has a bad reputation. Not wholly undeserved, but unfortunate.

I live in Cricklewood, which is not that great an area of London, but its mega convenient for the rest of the city, so overall, it's got to be "rocks"
I would have to say that Columbia South Carolina is full of stupid people vs Georgia.
Examples of that: I work the South Carolina State Fair every October and we have a food conecssion stand. Here were some of the questions we would get..
Does that chicken taste like Chicken?
How many fries do you get in a large?
Are those chicken wings .. chicken wings?
Can I get a free sample?
Can I taste the fruit punch before I buy it?
Is the fish really fish?
I won't say what my responses were ...but you can bet that they weren't nice.
Posted by
Sul, 19:00, 21st February 2002:
did you give a free sample?
Posted by
ell, 19:13, 21st February 2002:
And did the sample contain chicken? :O
Hell No ... I don't give out samples. I asked them if they went to other places like McDonalds and ask for samples .. when they said .. hm .. no ... I said then why the hell ask me.
I tell you ... when I leave from there to head homre ... I think god that I didn't grow up there and that my dad moved us to Virginia.
LOL .... you guys are so funny.
So tell me ... ever have someone ask you a dumb question and you thought to yourself " what a dumb ass"?
