Hi All...

After a hard year at this place I’ve decided to venture off to the island of sun, sea, sand, music… and a whole lot more. Yes, I’m off to Ibiza (w00t!) and it will be my first time there. I’m going sometime in July my question to you all is this: have you ever been? If you have, do you have any handy tips on what to do/see/wear?

I went last year, and If you like the clubbing scene then take loads of cash with you. Personally I'm not into that side of things, I went there because it was a cheap last minute deal, but had a good laugh on a shoe string. Loads of bar's offer 2 for 1 deals on drinks as they are all competing for the pre club trade. Take advantage of that. I stayed in San Antonio and although this sounds really weird one of the best nights I had was packing up a few cans and walking along the coast (easterly as you look out to the bay) and watching the sun set, if you walk far enough you reach these cool rock pools but it’s a bit tricky on the footing front, so be careful. You’ll notice the amount of people trying to flog you cheap Oakley’s and watches, don’t buy any illegal substances from them as they’re shite (Not that I know of course :) ) I really wanted to go to hippy market while there but didn’t have enough fundage so missed out. Don’t expect to do anything much between 12noon-3pm (I think) as this is siesta time, and everyone goes back to bed (I reckon this would be a great thing to introduce over here) Have fun whatever you end up doing.

I went to the Bahama's last November, stayed at the Atlantis Resort. It was wonderful. Currently getting the photos put together.

Thank Guys! :)

I'm off to enjoy the clubbing scene (especially to see my hero DJ Tiësto) there but I shall be taking time out hopefully to enjoy the rest of the island too. If any one has any other handy tips on what to do/see/wear please post them here or e-mail me. I may update my weblog from a cyber cafe whilst I'm over there but no promises! I shall take lots of pictures and post them up for you (and I bet you can't wait!)

I saw some of the clubs from Ibiza from the American television show "Wild On Ibiza" It's on the E! channel. Anyway have a good time and take some snapshots of the women without their tops!!! Then post them on the website of maybe on the "Am I This or Not" part of the website.

Some good ideas there, Mak! There's going to be absolutely loads of Americans on the island this year from what I've heard/read. I shall indeed take plenty of pictures!
