I've just been to see star wars with tom and nick. it wasn't too bad. but don't be in a great hurry to see it - it can wait.

yeah I went and saw it yesterday - just Yoda's fight scene alone made it worth the wait! =)
I dunno if it made up for the rest of it though... the whole 'forbidden love' thing was done really badly - seriously, was there some sort of competition between the screenwriters to come up with the corniest, most cliched lines?
actually, WERE there even screenwriters working on this one??
If so, they ought to be shot.

um, yeah.... but I liked Yoda! =)

the yoda scene was very funny (why didn't he just move the people instead of the toppling tower thing!?) but the love story was unbelievably bad

it was just because it was important to say

Aah, I went to see it with 2000 other people at the (digital screen) Odeon in Lecester Square... very cool. You lie, saying "it can wait" Cal! Minor plot holes aside, and just plain ignoring the trite love story, this is a very enjoyable film. :)

People complain about the love story like it's some inconsequential side plot - it was half of the whole film! Ms Portman did her best with the nauseating dialog but Anakin was just unforgivably bad. Yoda - so cool, but so unexpected the entire cinema burst out laughing. And how come he can leap around during the fight, but normally he can only hobble along with the aid of a stick? Better than Episode One though. Thank God.

Anakin *has* to be bad to keep continuity with the next trilogy. Anakins "He's holding me back" sounds exactly like Lukes "Biggs was right"

ell - i saw it at leicester square odeon. didn't see you there though

the love story was needed for the story continuation, obviously, but the dialog (and at times, the acting) was unbelievably bad. some really shocking lines from anakin - had me complaining throughout the first two thirds of the film. but as action flicks go, not too bad. certainly doesn't make my top 20.

I saw the movies last night. I enjoyed the movie, but they could have kept the whole love thing short. I think we can put two and two together.
