Cal: I've only recently realised that I've developed a knack for it, which is strange because I never used to be able to draw at all, very strange indeed. Kinda like origami and juggling, I could just do them.

However I havent done anything other than the kind of stuff Charles Bronson does. I do plan to start a strip called "Bobo the Desk Monkey", keep an eye out, its coming soon to a site near you!

dipping chips in mooshy peas is one of my favourite things about merry olde england. raw peas out of the pod are good too, but there's something in me that cannot stomach any other method of pea preparation.

Hmm. I'd like to say that I drive a Rover 220 SI Re, but unfortunatly that's in bits in the garage at the moment as it keeps overheating (What, you say a turbo-charger could be the only solution? Oh, go on then...) so I ran out and brought an emergency car a month ago for about £100.
ALL FEAR MY 957CC FIESTA POPULAR!

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with string,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple strudel,
Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses and blue satin sashes,
Snow-flakes that stay on my nose and eye-lashes,
Silver white win-ters that melt into spring,
These are a few of my favorite things,

When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel, so bad.

MARY POPPINS??? sacriledge!!! it's from the sound of music.

and yes, it is the sound of music, my favourite thing. the film i've seen the most... and yet i've never seen the ending!
Posted by cal, 19:03, 5th July 2002:

that's very odd

my favourite films, which we were discussing last night at the minority report previews (quite good) are:

requium for a dream
donnie darko
amelie
empire records
fight club
Posted by pete, 19:42, 5th July 2002:

favourite films:

sound of music (to sleep in)
the hole (yes, the tabloid of all films)
fight club
snatch
l'or des anges (sorry, i like it because i'm in it, it's actually crap!)
Posted by chris, 23:44, 5th July 2002:

fight club is THE greatest film ever made in my opinion - ironically as my site is about top 5's that was the first one I put in :)
Posted by cal, 08:01, 8th July 2002:

pete - you're in a film? cool!

what do you do in it?
Posted by November Eclectica, 19:46, 8th July 2002:

I stand corrected .. it is from the sound of music.
Posted by pete, 21:27, 10th July 2002:

THANK YOU!

umm... what do i do in the film?

i sing, i walk, and... I PLAY CRICKET...

if you saw it then you'd be much less impressed, it is as i said before... CRAP (not to mention, directed at a very specific audience, and no it's not porn!)

Posted by jeff, 09:25, 11th July 2002:

i like: sleeping, writing 'property of jess' on people when i'm drunk, cheese toasties, flirting with everything ('ooh hello rock, my you're looking good today')(i just cant help it), mp3s, manga, good films (amelie in particular), good books, trashy books, making things pretty, diy tv shows (I KNOW!), good food, music videos, buffy, driving and collecting photos of people.

i dislike: sleeping too much, meeting people who have 'property of jess' written on their hands the morning after...being an incurable flirt, bad films, things that arent pretty, diy tv shows, craig david and looking forward to philadelphia only to find its just a big tub of blue mould

... amongst other things...
Posted by cal, 09:58, 11th July 2002:

don't write on sals hands - she'd kill you
Posted by November Eclectica, 12:46, 11th July 2002:

was has gotten into you today nov? first you're sending me semi naked photos, then you're obssesed with sex. want to come on holiday to London?
Posted by jeff, 15:33, 11th July 2002:

it'd take years of aversion therapy to stop me flirting... and i'm not sure what kind of aversion therapy you could implement because i dont think the suggested flogging would work if you get me... *ahem*
besides, no matter how bad i get, i'll always be happy in the knowledge that i'll never be as bad as cal
Posted by November Eclectica, 15:42, 11th July 2002:

I'm just being a silly girl today, is all.

Aye ... you asked for pictures .. I sent you pictures :P be careful what you ask for.

Floggin has nothing to do with sex and if it does ... all I can say is OUCH!

Holiday in London ... mmmmm .. you paying?

If I did that then you better hide Graybo from me.

*giggle* I love being silly. I'm in a happy mood .. so please let me enjoy my happy mood.

Posted by ell, 04:20, 12th July 2002:

"the film i've seen the most... and yet i've never seen the ending!"

All the Von Trapp kids die, because (Frau) Julie Andrews turns out to be a Nazi Infiltrator. Trust me, that's how it ends.

Well, that's how my version would end.

..

*notices evil glare from Sally*

OUR version. That's how OUR version would end.

Oh, go draw on yourself. :P Note that this is very potent weaponry against you.

I like: Skydiving, slacking.

Posted by cal, 08:41, 12th July 2002:

"practical evil"? that's such a great term

ell: you like skydiving in real life? and what is cookie monster music?

sal: got a spare pen anywhere? permenant marker would be preferable

nov/luke/etc: gah! learn some new tricks. grinning is for wusses
Posted by ell, 10:50, 12th July 2002:

"Cookie Monster music" is an umbrella term a friend of mine coined to describe any heavy goth rock where otherwise good instrumentals are ruined by the main vocals screaming "RAAAAA! UGAAAGHRARARAMUAAAAKILLALLKILLALLSLAAAASLAAAAAAAASH!" in a deep voice.

As for Skydiving, I run the University of Birmingham Skydiving Society now. :)
Posted by cal, 11:09, 12th July 2002:

agree on the music front. add any rap music with excessive swearing.

skydiving sounds muchos funos

omg UK Garage. god that pisses me off. it's all the same! and it sucks! argh!
