Most iamcal regulars were born in the early 80s, we know this because its a fact that keeps cropping up. So on the G&W theme from the Kylie thread:
I was born between Fire Attack and Snoopy tennis A newly learned fact about myself that I will be placing on my CV.
What about you?

Oh I do have the mario mini-classic indoors, it beeps annoyingly and has no mute button that I can find. I have no idea where I can buy them from online though. I got mine from Virgin MegaStores about 2 years ago.

I had Snoopy Tennis, and I still have the original orange Donkey Kong (anyone want to make me an offer?)!
I was born before 'Ball'.
I was not born in the 80's, my first computer was a Texas TI994A which came with a mighty two games available, Chess and Pirate Island.

Chris: I had a Texas Instruments, too. I was quite good at Parsec and Munchman, the Pacman ripoff.
Is 29 too old to post on iamcal? I should probably be thinking about career mobility and long-term retirement benefits instead.

However, there are benefits to being born in 1973. I did see all of the star wars movies in the theatre the FIRST TIME.

Isn't Star Wars part of the curriculm for a computers degree? The whole education system is going down the toilet.
Anyway, when I was seven, I thought they were extremely good. When I was 14, I thought Harrison Ford was extremely good. As an adult, I think they are an extremely good laugh.
You really should see them. It will help you relate to old people like me.

Chris! I also had a Texas TI994A, and I had chess and Pinball! What was Pirate Island like?
Hurray the texas club, pirate island ruled. although everything rules when your 3.
I was born between bombsweeper and (oh yes) Super Mario Bros. woo hoo
I was born in 74, so no 29 is not to old to post. I will be 28 soon. So I guess we can be the old farts here. *smile*
Not sure what games were out .. but I do remember StarWars. I saw those to.

age is of no concern, unless your old!
one of my 1st comps was a commadore PET or somit.
anyway there was a really cool game, a very early 'sims' type game where you would tell a guy and his dog what to do. i think it was called LCP (little computer people), only problems was it was in german, and telling him to spielle axel f (the only german a young boy knew!) on his stereo was only watchable som many times!
but then i progressed to the real powerhouse of the BBC computers, they kicked ass, millions of games to play on until the end of time, anyway stop rabbiting phil, my tupence!
I remember playing "Frak" on that computer, i remember you gave it an interesting re-titling as well.,
