Need to find the words to a song? Then
lyric tracker is pretty good. It allows you to submit new lyrics and make corrections. Ace.

I agree though
I'm not losing the Joshua tree for anyone.
I'd re-think that No Doubt album though Cal.

That person is soooooo right! Absolutely every single one of those albums is from the worst genre(s) of music known to man!

whilst i dont agree with a lot of them, that person is entitled to their opinions, and i think they meant to get up peoples noses.. dont rise to it kids...
if you like music, and it makes you happy, then listen to it. I hate when people over analyse stuff.. so maybe beck does sound like rick james and prince, but that doesnt make him, or his music crap.. ooh there i go, rising to it.
yes, its all wanky pretentious bollocks. nuff said
(oh and cal, i SO hadnt read this when i was taking the piss out of you earlier! doh!)

Well said, Jeff.
Becks crap music makes Beck crap.
But then again i like Elvis and Neil Diamond, so i'll just go back in my glass house and shut my face.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Chemical Bothers - Dig Your Own Hole

Pah! If people didn't
listen to dance music then they wouldn’t dance would they? :P
No, seriously Cal, I don't mean to come across as hating everything apart from dance music. I have said before on this very site I am very versatile when it comes to my musical tastes!
My younger brother listens (at full blast) to most of the music everyone here talks about, as well as some other horrifying rock/heavy metal stuff, and I've just come to hate it with a passion.

I agreed with the sentiment of the "throw away your CDs" article. How many albums do you own that are classics but you never listen to? I can't remember the last time I listened to any Nirvana, let alone all of Nevermind. The only Green Day album I own is Dookie and I only got it because Tower were having a sale last year and I loved it when I previously owned it x years ago and thought I should get it again. Listened to it twice since then if I'm lucky. It's not that the music is bad - I just don't need it any more.
As for the computer cruft link, this phrase almost made me wet my pants:
"something has pooed a Paradox lock control file there, too"

same here. infact i dont even take my cds to uni with me. so in a way, yes, they do just sit on my shelf untouched, but if you had to fit your life into the back of a bmw coupe, you'd do the same..

How DARE she suggest the removal of the Prodigy, Beastie Boys, NIN,And Pink Floyd?
And what the fuck is she on about here:
(The Prodigy) being a pioneer of the combination of rapping and the Big Guitar Sound and can be at least partly blamed for the pallid rock/rap wasteland that is pop music these days.
What?
Just because one person suggests that those CDs should be thrown away, doesn't mean that you have to.
Would you jump off a bridge if someone told you to? *don't answer that cause I know some of you would*
Point being ....YOU and only YOU can decide what you want to keep and throw out, no one else.

Cal,
I guess I'm a bit different. Where I work there's nigh on a months worth of music on our servers but we spend most of listening to the new stuff that comes in, about 10 new albums a month.
We have a bit of a tradition on Friday nights where we take turns playing two tracks at a time and that's probably the only time the older stuff gets out.
Sometimes we stream two track Friday. Next time we do, I'll post a pointer here.
