Which e-consulting firm suffered a very public embarrassment when a domain name similar to their own was bought and replaced with a Flash movie singing: "We like donkeys, la la la, everybody knows we like donkeys"?

Yay for b3ta.

You did when you left me on with that 'The Economist' Screen saver on for the last 8 hours without so much as an accidental knock of the mouse.

We've been through this: I've moved on. I have another machine. She's win2k. I'm sorry. You just dont do it for me anymore.

Posted by Sul, 19:27, 2nd October 2002:

Its all just cosmetics to you! You're so shallow!
Posted by Sul, 19:44, 2nd October 2002:

It might seem shallow to you honey but to me it gives her depth, it gives her a little extra spark, it gives me on demand American Pie 2
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 19:59, 2nd October 2002:

But I have Paintshop Pro 6 installed locally! Remember all the fun we had together viewing the images in there ;)

and I have access to the entire Novell Tree - NDS and Bindary!

Are you just gonna let all that go. All those servers, all those volumes. With ME you have FULL Admin rights. With HER you're just a Supervisor! With HER you're scum, with ME you're GOD!
Posted by Sul, 20:15, 2nd October 2002:

That's pathetic! That's like asking me to choose between todays newspaper or all of last years! It's old news, baby, get over it!

We're happy without Novell! In fact we're more efficient! We're running under Active Directory, your protocols are all out of date. I needed something new! I'm a young man. I should never have got involved with a company that made me use an out of date Operating system in the first place.

I know this is probably hard to hear, but its the truth and it needs to be spoken...

You're over the hill, you're past it, you're not useful for anything more than testing out novelty shareware on.
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 20:18, 2nd October 2002:

Noooooooooooooooooo

That's not true! How can you say that too me?!

You're such a cunt, I hate you!
Posted by Sul, 20:20, 2nd October 2002:

Dont get so upset about it. I'm really sorry it had to end like this!

Dont be angry with me, perhaps you should think of this more of a step forward. You can do all those things that you always wanted to.
Posted by jay, 20:26, 2nd October 2002:

I worry.
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 20:27, 2nd October 2002:

You're right. You were a lousy user anyway, never shutting down properly always exiting scandisk, refusing to reboot unless I force you too!

And don't get me started on that phase of playing around with word macro viri to see how they worked! 3 times I was put in quarentine, no-one would talk to me on the network for months. They thought I was dirty! I could hear little bits of information as the packets sped by. "010101100100001001000001001000000101001101101100011101010111010000100001" they would say, do you know how hurtful that was? How I felt?

You're right you always held me back. I could've done anything. I could've been anything.

I'm going to succeed. I'm going to become a toaster!
Posted by Sul, 20:33, 2nd October 2002:

A TOASTER?! That's a ridiculous idea!
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 20:35, 2nd October 2002:

Hmph! I know :(

Its just that I know how much you liked toast. I thought you might want to come back to me.

SHE doesnt know how to make toast does she?!
Posted by Sul, 20:36, 2nd October 2002:

She's a personal computer, not a kitchen appliance. You're just being paranoid now.

Take a break for five minutes, calm down.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 20:38, 2nd October 2002:

Err, are you feeling ok sul?
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 20:38, 2nd October 2002:

A break, a break? I've been taking a fucking break since you switched me on this morning! Haven't you noticed the annoying spinning globe I've been displaying for nearly half a day?!
Posted by Sul, 20:38, 2nd October 2002:

Well what would you prefer?
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 20:39, 2nd October 2002:

SETI
Posted by Sul, 20:39, 2nd October 2002:

SETI?
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 20:44, 2nd October 2002:

Yes SETI! SETI@home! Is that too difficult for you to comprehend?

Ive read about it. You can get a screensaver that searches for intellegent life through looking for patterns in radio waves beamed from outer space. It sounds really interesting. You never know, I could be that one computer that makes the break-through.
Posted by Sul, 20:47, 2nd October 2002:

I never gave you SETI for the simple reason that I dont want people in the office to think I'm weird. What would they think if they came over to my desk and saw YOU analyzing data, looking for little green men. I'd be a laughing stock!
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 20:51, 2nd October 2002:

Oh so now we come to the nitty gritty!

You're ashamed of me, thats it, is it?!

Huh?! Well let me tell you something, boy, David.Airlie wasnt ashamed of me. Oh no, not by a long way. In fact, he spent all of those two weeks you were in Turkey, sitting here, playing games with me, pushing my buttons, tweaking my settings! He knew what a PC wanted, he's a professional, unlike you, Luser!
Posted by Sul, 21:06, 2nd October 2002:

David Airlie, That uber-tosser!? That's just sick? How could you?!
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 21:07, 2nd October 2002:

You was away, I was lonely. What was a PC to do?
Posted by Sul, 21:08, 2nd October 2002:

Be faithful and GPF everytime his name gets put into the username box like what you normally would! THATS WHAT!!!! I feel dirty now. How could you do this to me?
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 21:09, 2nd October 2002:

What do you care? You have HER now!
Posted by Sul, 21:11, 2nd October 2002:

I'm not so sure I dont want you anymore?
I'm so confused!
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 21:11, 2nd October 2002:

You mean there could be a chance? We could be together again????
Posted by Sul, 21:14, 2nd October 2002:

I... I... I dont know. You've been with HIM now!

Tell me... did he touch your... ahem!

Posted by Sul, 21:16, 2nd October 2002:

YOUR REGISTRY!

Did he play with your registry?
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 21:17, 2nd October 2002:

OH HA HA HA HA?!

No, sugartips, he didnt!
Posted by Sul, 21:17, 2nd October 2002:

This is serious, why are you laughing?

Are you lying to me?
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 21:19, 2nd October 2002:

No, he wanted to but I wouldnt let him, he'd get so far and I'd think of you and not be able to go any further. I would just crash the kernel on him.
Posted by Sul, 21:20, 2nd October 2002:

You done that for me? To protect your registry. Even though I treat it so badly and it hasnt had a good going over and clean up in ages? You saved it for me?
Posted by SulsWin95PC, 21:21, 2nd October 2002:

Its all your's. I'd do anything for you. You know that!

Posted by SulsWin95PC, 21:34, 2nd October 2002:

Posted by Sul, 21:35, 2nd October 2002:

Do you think I could turn this into a one man show for next years Edinburgh Festival? Just picture it: Me sitting at a desk arguing with a computer for 20 minutes. I could get someone to do the computer's lines with a voice like the one from WarGames.

Im not sure, isn't 19 the amount of people that lardy martial artist steven segal hits with a pool ball in a sock in awful straight to video of the same name?
Posted by Sul, 20:55, 3rd October 2002:

I've seen that film and it was actually 18. The last one he kicks through the door. A common misconception though Chris2, dont beat yourself up about it.
