  • Yeah he did. Horrible man
  • Ulrika put out, then changed her mind afterwards because he was crap
  • Ulrika made it up for book sales
As you will know, John Leslie was accused of raping Ulrika-ka-ka Jonsson last night on Five.

What do you think?

Here are the clues.

1) He didn't deny it this morning. He made no comment atall.
2) The BBC refuses to name him on their news story. Do they think he didn't do it?

The BBC wont name him because they can be sued. could be seriously done for it.

you cant name him on here either. You could be sued. several of the other forums I have visited have had posts and topics removed cos of this.

Nah, the BBC are just the BBC, they think that they hold a morel highground over the tabloids, it's not because they think he didnt do it.

Either that, or they are scared that he will turn into a monster raving loney and come to their office and shoot them all, you decide which.

Personally, i dont give a shit if he did it or not. That's the best attitude to have :D

well lots of sites, papers and stations still wont refer to him by name. Their lawyers probably know more than ours.

No, no formal accusation has been made about John Leslie. Therefore, intimating that he did could land you in serious trouble.

You will notice that only the Red Tops have said that he did it. This is because they expect that someone will come forward and say "He raped me too" at which point saying "John Leslie Raped Me" is not a lie, and the paper cannot be sued for libel.

At the moment, no-one has come forward to confirm that it was John Leslie. No one at all. Everyone thinks they know, but it may not have been. And as it stands at the moment, if Ulrika refuses to say anything and no-one else comes forward, JL has 7 newspapers to sue who will have to pay up.

At the moment, no one can sue (remember they will sue Cal as the owner of this board, not the individuals) because we have only questioned it, not stated our beliefs in any way.

Unless we do, we have nothing to worry about

And No, I'm not a lawyer - but I have worked for enough Newspapers to know how this stuff works.

Personally, I wouldn't give a shit even if they DID threaten legal action.. for a start, I'd *love* to see a prosecution actually go through about something someone's said on a (let's face it) non-gigantic-corporate message board. There are plenty of far less flimsy and more ssinister things that have never been held up in court, here or anywhere else (EULAs spring to mind)

If he didn't do it, then why hasn't he denied it yet? It just seems strange to me.

If you get blamed for something that you haven't done, then your immediate reaction is to clear your name - quickly.

I know I said that I couldnt give a fuck but all these women that have come forward saying he done this that and the other tell of very bizarre storys. Take this one from the sun:

I read one alleged incident in the paper where the "victim" said he allegedly (too many bloody allegedlies!) started to feel her under the table while at a dinner party. What made me laugh was that she said "It all happened so quickly! The bread rolls hadn't even arrived!"
