Anyone had any good dreams lately?
I had this weird one the other day where I befriended a little talking lamb call "Fibre Fibre"(?) who had a serious condition where its arse would cave in and bleed everywhere. It also loved steam trains, so I would take it to see said trains when the lamb would suddenly have a bout of said bum-related implosion. Twas the best dream ever I tells ya.
Cute little bugger, he was.
... It was almost as good as my earlier cat/notcatbutspider dream...

what was the cat/notcatbutspider dream?

arsepuppy, 13:51, 15th November 2002:
basically, it was me sitting in my front room, when suddenly I saw a black cat in front of me (black cats being the source of all evil, of course). It was very furry. Then I noticed that it had eight legs, and was really a spider, but cat-esque. Then I turned around and saw a big fuckoff 10foot spider made out of party string and those black sucker things you have underneath Amiga joysticks.
It was a cool dream though, despite the crap description.

should have known it wasnt a cat. Cats dont descend from ceilings from a silky thread. Or sing.

chandler, 14:04, 15th November 2002:
of course cats sing
I dreamed that I gave birth in a cemetery. It was a baby boy with jet black hair and green eyes. The dream was very surreal and I woke up in a cold sweat.

with black hair and green eyes are you sure it wasnt a cat/spider/spider baby. its got the body of a spider but the mind of a baby.

arsepuppy, 14:12, 15th November 2002:
yes. you are probably right.
And of course, cats DO sing, d'oh!

we should all avoid anything with the body of a spider and the mind of a baby. They are responsible for all of life's atrocities. Like dropping the 'nut' from 'Honey nut loops'. Fair enough, nut allergies and no more nuts in cereal, but the jingle *relied* on that extra syllable.
"Honey * * Loops, let's loop together.."
Needs that extra syllable.
For shizzle my nizzle.

When I was a kid I used to have recurring nightmares about Domino Rally, and also that cilla black show 'Surprise Surprise'.
My girlfriend has nightmarish chilling nightmares and wakes me in the middle of the night and tells me. Right before she falls back asleep and leaves me terrified of the boy with crosses carved into his eyes.
Maybe I should stop whispering things to her as she sleeps?

When I was about 12 I dreamt I was going out with this girl. We had a fantastic relationship. This went on for about a week, then no more. :(
I miss that girl
I have also had dreams where I died in a nuclear blast. Weird.

"
i rarely ever remember my dreams." me too Cal, very rarely do I remember them, though I started keeping pen and paper by my bed just in case and I got a few down.

Apparently, remembering your dreams vividly is a sign of mental illness. Eek.
This means that Cal, you are officially non-mental.

cal, 15:56, 15th November 2002:
rubbish! your theory is obviously wrong.

My theory is true! I know this because I dreamt about it!

Or read it somewhere, or my psychiatrist told me, something like that.
I had a dream that this person started coughing and it got worse and worse and they were keeled over on the floor spluttering and wheezing and it was pretty obvious they were in the process of biting the dust.
The next day I get on the bus. The woman sitting across the aisle from me starts coughing. It gets worse and worse... I ended up getting off a stop early just in case.
The night before that I had a really cool dream that somebody had taped Parkinson for me (as in the interview show) and it was Kevin Spacey being interviewed. And I watched the tape and he was explaining to Parky what a prodigous talent I was and how I was definitely "one to watch" and how, y'know, I was quite exceptional.
I'm not sure how he knew who I was but I wasn't surprised at it, I guess i must have been famous in the dream. Then as a sidenote he mentioned that the band Miss Black America had changed their name to "QMC" (the name of my college) as a kind of cult-pop-culture reference.
I ran to get my mum to show it to her, but I woke up.
If you can remember your dreams really vividly, this could (i suppose) be connected with having fast brain waves while you're asleep. And if this is the case (like you're working between 4 - 7 Hz) then you're most likely a psychopath.
If you go to
machete.fneh.net I've just posted a link all about the fun of Lucid Dreaming. I could go fetch it, but... nah.

Forget what I said earlier. THIS was the best dream ever.....
About 3 months ago I had a dream where I was in London (or sort of, it was one of those ones where you watch everything, like a film). And for some reason, Dean Gaffney (Robbie from EastEnders) was being pursued by a gang of suited men (Mafia?). Anyway, the chase went on for quite a long while until eventuall Robbie found himself out of breath in what was either a speedway track or a greyhound track. At this moment, one of the gang caught up with him, held a shotgun right in Robbie's face and fired at point blank range.....
....to which Robbie complained "Ooh, that REALLY BLOODY HURT" and walked of in disgust, ignoring the apologetic pleas of the gunman.
Best. Dream. Ever, yo

i only ever seem to have frightening and vivid dreams in the few days before my period... they can be quite scary... the other day i dreamt that i fell asleep and my friends tom and rob were sitting on my bed.. i kept waking up and they were there talking to me... and then i had my tongue pierced and kept catching it on things... this also fits in nicely with the psychopath theory because it is for those few days each month that i become slightly unbalanced and on edge... hmmmm...
arsepuppy, you also feature quite heavily in my psychotic dreams.. in fact, looking back i think you were trying to teach me how not to get my tongue piercing caught on stuff... oh and in a minor fit of bin related rage, i threw away your hat from the hat making contest... i'm SO sorry... please come back and make another.. i'll buy you a roll of foil especially...
