If you were faced with the situation where you had to choose between having a hat or a pair of mittens, which would it be??

Now I hear you going, "Yeah, Hats, gotta be", keep in mind that the mittens are, wait for it....

CONNECTED BY A PIECE OF STRING!!!! SO YOU DON'T LOSE THEM!!! ROCK!!!

So...... hat or mittens, what's it going to be????

Hat, that way people won't suffer flashbacks to when they were 4 and laugh at you.
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:45, 11th December 2002:

Yeah, but come on! STRING!!!
Posted by cal, 14:49, 11th December 2002:

string is a bonus, but hat wins. a hat leave you with manual dexterity - mittens only impede you in this respect

But they good for lego man impressions. Especially if they are yellow.

Go on then, lose 60% of your lost body heat through your head, see if we care.

But you could also have a hat attached to the mittens by, guess what? A FUCKOFF BIG BIT OF STRING!!!

id go with the mittens, especcially if they have a string. you can hold your mittened hands over your ears to keep them warm- its okay to look silly, its f*ing freezing outside.

Why dont you just get a big ball of string and indulge in your strange fetish without involving us. sicko!

(note exclamation mark)

You are forgetting the temperature issue though!

hey, you could get a hat and put your hands in it like some kind of muff... *waits for sick reply*

VM: Why the not-niceness? Seems a little unfair....

String is funny and kittens like it. Mittens also rhymes with kittens, although cat rhymes with hat so everyone wins.

Well, Depends... do I have pockets?

As a cold weather veteran, though, I think I would still go for the hat -- you can always find a place to stick your hands...

*also waiting for sick reply*

I like mittens though personally I favour fingerless glove. I can't seem to find any in the shop :( I wanted some day-glo pink ones so I could recreate that 1980's feelin' *sigh*
Hats mess up your hair and only suit some head shapes. Mittens are an ironic take on how much you hated wearing them as a kid.

Sorry AP, i have changed my secret codes so now the exclamation mark is err, i dont know, something fluffy and warm!

With extra kittens.

A hat with string on to go under your chin to STOP IT FROM FALLING OFF!

Like Craig David, whos silly woolly hat is held on by a ridiculous liqourice chinstrap.
