I was a dj while at university, yes. It was one of the zillion jobs I had to pay for classes. The radio station I worked for was having a raffle of old crap cds and I won the Hall and Oates LP and Billy Ocean, too. It was definitely my lucky day.

Do you want the CD? Includes SMASH hits like "Carribean Queen," "Get Out of My Dreams... and into My Car," and "Suddenly."
Only if its got 'Love really hurts without you'
I'll swap it for my newly bought 'Norah Jones' album, which is frankly shite.

i like the norah jones album. well, the first track is cool anyway
Yep, the first one is cool the fifth is ok, but its the same as the No Doubt album we argued about a while back, the ones you heard on the radio were ok, the rest were samey shite.
(in my amateur opinion)
Sorry missy, thought you said 'Do you want it' not 'do you want to spend fifteen quid to get it through amazon'
Posted by
cal, 16:04, 18th December 2002:

However, if people who do buy it on Amazon, you could get the Lionel Richie for a reduced price.

why would anyone want to buy Lionel Richie, even at a reduced price?
i think it would be rather handy owning Lionel Ritchie.
Lionel. go put the kettle on hehe

Oi Lionel! Stop dancing on the ceiling, and get that budgie clean! Or I'll get Vandross to do it instead, and you won't want that, will you!

My mum now claims to like Lionel Richie after years of saying how crap he was. Mothers can be so fickle.
I think Vandross should fight Alexander O'Neil in a celebrity boxing/deathmatch type thing

Errol Brown from Hot Chocolate could act as a Miyagi-style mentor role, just for the fuck of it. It would be funny, especially with the addition of various wigs to be worn during the event.

Vandross would win the fight, based on the fact that "Luther Vandross" sounds like a name for a character in a George Lucas midgets-and-puppets-go-on-long-journey-to-find-a-shitty-sword fantasy film.

Having Lionel as a household helper wouldn't be as good as we all think. Imagine trying to get him to stop stalking plasticine-head-making blind girls when the video needs setting...
