Discussion » Converting Pdf Files To Word

This is a read-only copy. The forum ran on iamcal.com from 2000 until its database was lost in 2016, and this topic was rebuilt from copies saved by the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. Some replies may be missing.

I need to keep the formatting, but I already told them it wasn't possible. So, they have left me alone about it.

That is what they get for not keeping the orginal.

I think only as a JPEG or TIFF file and those aren't easy to work with. They need to be able to edit the document.

It is easier to just tell them to look at it as a finished product. Once it is finished you can't convert it back.

They need to keep a copy of the orginal and if they don't, then I can't help them. Sometimes they get lucky caused I saved a copy, but I cleanout my work files at the end of the month to make room for the new stuff that is coming in.
