Anyone intrested in exchanging post cards? I like getting snail mail.
It brightens my day when I go and get my mail and there is something in there besides bills.

Posted by
cal, 17:27, 7th January 2003:
(as long as by "postcard" you mean "naked pictures of desi")
That could be arranged, but I don't think your girlfriend would like it very much. *evil grin*
Ok .. here is the deal email your adddresses and how they should be written, since I have never mailed anything out of the US before and I will send you my address.
Then the post card exchange will begin.

I have just found 6 first class stamps (dont ask). While on this new snailmail trip, I will send a lovely origami animal to the first 6 UK iamcal members to send
me their address. Sorry for overseas customers but I have no money atm and only have 6 fc stamps.
Perhaps everyone can contribute in this manner; drawings, poems or even crap puns.
Posted by
chandler, 19:39, 7th January 2003:
hey I could contribute photocopied pages from the "I Am Not An Animal" scripts (that Peter Baynham thing that I am working on)
Oh hang on, that might result in me getting fired. So maybe not.
(Note to bosses: if pages do go missing and you do find this webpage, then honestly it wasnt me.)
Dang ... I feel left out. *pout*

oooh.. have you ever heard of 1000journals? its like these really cool books that get sent round the world and you add to them and send them on.. we should do something like that... infact, back in the heady days of aol we started something similar but it never got to me :(
and whoever gets it can scan the last page and i'll put it on my website (i will have a website in the next couple of weeks, honest) and it'll be great and you can put whatever you want on it and YEAHHH.. wheee..

heh - another web community i'm involved in is trying to get a project called The BOX off the ground - basically you put something small in the box to stay in there, and something in there for the next person, and a photo of you and the box in there as well, then pass it on. the next person gets your little present, and then does the same. :o)
the big challenge is that we wanted to avoid mailing it, so it has to be done whenever one member happens to travel near another.
Posted by
Sul, 02:05, 8th January 2003:
wow, reitsma. Thats great!
Posted by
reitsma, 02:38, 8th January 2003:
yeah. pity it's still in 'developmental stages'. :o|
it was even going as far as talking about having a database of planned member movements, to see if we could plot a path for The BOX.
Posted by
la, 03:39, 8th January 2003:
what's to stop people taking the stuff out that's supposed to stay in the box?
what if the box is held up in customs cause they think it's a bomb?
what if the box is taken hostage?
huh, what then??
Your plan is flawed!!
...and I'm just jealous cause I want a box. Nevermind about a present in the box, I just like boxes.
=)

I've always wanted a stalker. Yeh I cud get weird mail but you can look me up in the phonebook and send me anthrax anyways so putting my name up on a site doesn't make any difference.
I've had some lovely lil things from postcard x peeps, in fact today I got a photopostcard :)
