Unfortunately John Squire is a lazy bugger (and didn't like that the lead singer was getting more attention than him!)... and couldn't be arsed to work any more!! They had a load of new material ready to record, but they split up before they had a chance.
The lead singer Chris Helme had a somewhat unsuccessful solo album and seems to have disapeared... :-(

shame... He had a great voice and John Squire is probably one of the greatest guitarists alive!!

I read this as Do It Yourself Seahorses.
There I was, thinking "I wanna make seahorses!"
so disappointing.
