Just off a conf call and one particular guy kept saying, "So that we are all singing from the same song sheet" ...

What the fuck??? I dont sing you tit!

Can anyone provide me with other, more annoying phrases or words?

I'm doing a management course at the moment and the amount of awful, corny phrases I've picked up is terrible. For Example:

I just called to "Touch Base" with you...

I can't think of anymore at the moment - Thank God! When I do I'll let you know.....

We need to break down our silos and stop throwing things over the wall.
We'll just park this for the moment.
I'll keep you in the loop.

Oh and on the same kind of note as Matt:

I want to see an immediate and sustained improvment.
Posted by earthworm, 18:31, 16th January 2003:

There is also now 'word shower' instead of brainstorm. How pants is that?
Also 'development opportunity' which really means shit loads of extra work for no extra pay!!
I also hate those people who do the 'wind the bobbin' style hand movements when they speak. What the F*CK is that all about?
Posted by November Eclectica, 18:50, 16th January 2003:

You best take that pink tu-tu off and put you're man pants on.

Well thankyou very much earthworm! I just found myself doing the all the wind the bobbin up actions and singing the song while watching buffy.
Posted by chandler, 19:27, 16th January 2003:

On a not unrelated note, does anyone else find buffy's sister to be incredibly attractive? Damn she is nice. Those jeans really suit her. I think she is my new favourite (I used to be a willow freak) but to borrow a phrase from the office, wouldnt we all like to wake up at the crack of Dawn?
Posted by chandler, 19:28, 16th January 2003:

Oh I just thought, I wonder how old she is? I dont want to get carted away like all these 2nd rate celebrities.
Posted by chandler, 19:30, 16th January 2003:

Date of Birth : 11th October 1985. which makes her? 17. Oh thats OK then.
Posted by Sul, 21:05, 16th January 2003:

phew, I can voice my opinions on how god damn hot she is too
Posted by chandler, 22:27, 16th January 2003:

Thank goodness I'm not the only one! Christ she makes my whole body ache with her loveliness.

Seriously, she is about 5.6 times nicer than buffy. 2.3 times nicer than Willow. Now that takes some doing, but those tight jeans really help.

let's put this on the backburner.

lies in our critical path.

hold that thought....

let's workshop that..

Posted by la, 02:37, 17th January 2003:

Isn't buffy's sister the one who was in Harriet the Spy or something?

...uh, not that I ever watched it of course, just remember critics saying it was a great performance from someone that young... yeah, that's it.
Posted by chandler, 09:22, 17th January 2003:

Yeah it was her, but she was too young then.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 09:55, 17th January 2003:

Pah, she's got lips like Leslie Ash.
