I was in Bayswater yesterday and I was wearing this biege fluffy coat from Topshop. There was this bloke walking behind me and he starts shouting at me, " is your coat real fur or fake fur?". Now - I kept walking as I was shitting a brick coz I was on my own, but this man kept following me and shouting about my coat. In the end to you know what he did? He stepped in front of me and spat on my feet!! My coat looks like a bit of old carpet and nothing like bloody fur!!

How gross is that?? (It really upset me!)

why didnt you just tell him it wasnt fur?

Maybe I shouldn't have described it as "fluffy". Maybe I should have used the word "matted" instead. It is only fluffy in places now due to wear and tear!

I didn't want to get into a big debate about the morals of wearing fur as I was on my way to an exam and was trying to stay focused.

Plus, he didn't look like the kind of guy who really wanted to have a discussion about the subject - I think he was just causing trouble.

but he spat on your shoes cos he thought it was fur.

You should have told the police about that. I wished I were there, I would have given him a good punch in the face.

Yeah, which was gross. But what would have happened if I'd have stopped and said, " well actually mate - its made out of some cheap material and it was bought from Topshop for 50 quid, so F*ck Off out of my face"? He would have probably been even more offensive and started on me even more.

I was trying to get to the exam hall. I was reading my notes. I wasn't wearing fur. I was scared. I don't even know Bayswater that well..
