I had one of those packets with ten slices of cheese for burgers. They're well tasty! You do have to remember to take them out of their packets though..
Posted by Sul, 14:48, 31st January 2003:

I dont get why companies stop people drinking at lunch. If you dont get a paid lunch you should be able to do what the hell you like. This I mean within reason, like office workers, I could do my job pissed and frequently have... its no big deal. I'm sure Chris2 could do his job pissed too.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 15:40, 31st January 2003:

I am pretty sure i could do it better with a higher blood/stella ratio
Posted by chandler, 15:43, 31st January 2003:

"You do have to remember to take them out of their packets"

I don't think I've ever had a pint or anything remotely alcoholic at lunchtime
Posted by wobbie, 17:30, 1st February 2003:

man. i am encouraged to drink at lunchtime... listening to you guys, i think i better stick with my current job!
Posted by Drago, 18:45, 2nd February 2003:

I've had a drink at lunchtime before, and then had double english and double philosophy in the afternoon.

Being in Lower Sixth Form at a school 2 minutes from a pub is great. Even better when you're less than 5 mins away from Newcastle city-centre.
Posted by reitsma, 21:10, 2nd February 2003:

the only time i ever ahve drinks @ lunch is when they are on the company. :o)

...which isn't too often, but is thoroughly enjoyable each time.
Posted by cal, 21:16, 2nd February 2003:

Posted by wobbie, 20:17, 3rd February 2003:

ah i see. well at least you dont have a dislike of stella in favour of other lesser quality lagers.

...cos that would be sick and wrong !!
Posted by chandler, 22:17, 3rd February 2003:

I'm sure that Stella is the prince of all lagers

If you don't get a paid lunch then lunchtime is outside company hours, and you can do what the hell you like.

Thanks to the C.A.B. for that little snippet of info.
Posted by Grim..., 13:26, 17th April 2003:

P.S. Red Stripe is fantastic.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:36, 17th April 2003:

Correct or Incorrect?

Red Stripe is from Jamaica?
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:39, 17th April 2003:

Yup. "Jamaican Lubrication", sayeth 17-year old "Bob Marley Mon! Drugs Mon!" townie fucktards.
Posted by chris, 13:42, 17th April 2003:

Red Stripe is made in Bedford, near the train station - i'm pretty sure other brewries make it too... good ol' charlie wells!

I'll do them tonight, I've been away with the missus since saturday. That's why I ain't been here. Haven't forgotten though mate.
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:47, 17th April 2003:

Most beers are brewed under license in the country they're sold at, surely?

I know Foster's and Stella is made here. Bit like what they do with Coke. I think it works out cheaper to sub-contract the manufacturing process locally and all that. Either that, or I've been smoking crack again.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:47, 17th April 2003:

nice..cheers man. Go anywhere nice with missus?
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 13:48, 17th April 2003:

FL: Just around pubs and that, she came down to me so it was more "away from computers and iamcal", bit misleading I s'pose. Don't really remember where we went. But now I know I should cut down of the fags, I've been on 20 a day for the past week. Fuck knows how much JD though. I'll be shitting clay for a month.

Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:04, 17th April 2003:

I made a decision last week:

Whenever i know i am going on a piss-up/watching Celtic i buy girlie silk cut, that way i dont waken up and cough my lungs up .You can easily smoke 20+ of those things and not feel any ill effects.
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:08, 17th April 2003:

Yeah, I'll try that. I moved off Marlboro Reds to Lights, but S*lk C*t may be worth a go.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:10, 17th April 2003:

Malboro reds...they are rotten! They fuckin stink...try the silkies, but dont be tempted to squeeze the filter.
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:11, 17th April 2003:

Or try in vain to block the holes by wrapping a rizla around the end.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:17, 17th April 2003:

LOL..yeah!
Posted by Redmaiden, 18:15, 17th April 2003:
