Is this serious? I don't get it.

it might just be a big hoax ;)
but it's worth downloading
I was using a beta of Cray back on OS 9, the cooling modules really helped take down the unbearable heat of my powerbook on my groin.
I am also a big fan of flashing grids and completely understand the way in which this enables me to see DesktopCray at work.
I really wish
www.cray.com had a store where you could order your real super computer online - reaches for the company credit card.
Anyone think this should be submitted as a joke
www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/submit/ or do you reckon apple will get shirty and pull it down?
Well if its a joke, i don't get it.
Ah, well thats cleared that up.

it's a big hoax. the app does nothing at all, but looks very pretty and has lots of controls.
the hoax is such genius because the site is really detailed and contains a big forum full of people talking about the best ways to configure it (they're all in on the joke too).

it isn't out yet - they've had some trouble getting reasonable performance out of it :(
