I think this subject was what made me post here (correct me if im wrong) red dwarf rocks and the second series on dvd is going to be great relief to me.

though I fear that series 8 went off the rails a little bit.
thats why series 2 is so good cos it is the basics, guys on a ship dossing about.

the first six series were great, although nothing can ever top the first episode, then it was downhill from there. I saw craig charles walking on the common when i was driving home a few months ago, i wanted to shout r**ist out of the window at him...
