Donnie: answer me this. why is it that every single other meat eating animal can eat all their meat raw whereas if we eat lots of raw meat we get sick? could it be that origianlly (just after we came down from the trees) we werent designed to eat it. so we had to burn it with fire (which I think someone stole from the gods or something) to make it edible.

err, because we don't eat meat fresh any more. killing an animal and eating it straight away is fine, even for us weedy hu-mans. But carting it halfway across the world tends to make it a bit germ-y. otherwise steak tartare and blue steaks would make people sick. which they don't

when we cam down from the trees we did eat raw meat which was digested by our appendixs' but when man discovered fire, there was no longer any need to eat raw meat therefore the appendix was made redudant

were to stop us getting poisoned by berries and leaves and stuff. if they were used for meat then we would still use them. we dont use them cos we dont eat leaves and berries anymore. (except strrawberries and the like)

You can eat as much fish as you want raw and not get sick and raw chicken is a korean delicacy. The reason raw chicken here makes you so ill if you eat it is due to the horrific farming conditions and the fact that 90% of chicken in this country is riddled with salmonella.

Surely we should just be true omnivores and eat whatever is in season?

Plus you actually have to kill more animals to make a veggie burger than you do a hamburger. A hamburger, or even 100 hamburgers, requires one animal to be slaughtered. Veggie burgers or nice bean burger facilitates the slaughter of thousands during the barbaric harvest process. Tiny field mice and oh I dont know beavers and wombats all sleeping peacefully in a field are descended upon by crazy pulse lusting vegertarians with combine harvasters. Poor wee things! ;)

I always found Vegitarians a bit selfish, they come round your house expecting to have a vegge meal crafted for them (fair enough) but you go round their house and you dont get steak and chips.
