So, i'm not getting my fire-breathing super PC from alienware then, i just had a phone call explaining that because my credit card isn't registered to my home address, (Strange that, seeing as i have lived there two weeks) they can't deliver there. I explained that i was hardly likely to want it shipped to manchester and then bring it down to london and if they want nearly two and a half grand of my money maybe they should make some allowances but they are not having it. bah, the hunt goes on.
Posted by chandler, 11:40, 14th March 2003:

well thats annoying. why dont you transfer your card address to where you are living?
Posted by toughseedstakeroot, 11:41, 14th March 2003:

so that explains your moodymood then eh vic?
not getting your toy? find the dummy then spit it I say!
I also had the same problem, they wouldnt deliver magic mushrooms to my door cause they were worried that they might deliver it to mr Plod. crying shame

Dude just go to your bank and change your address, or ring the number on the back of your last statement it takes but 2 seconds to complete it.

Not if you use the worlds number 1 credit card 'American Express' then you have to wade through 5 minutes of automated menus before some retard tells me that 'the system' has gone down and he can't access anything. i get the feeling this is going to be one of those days.

If only sul would part with his Win95 PC, then i would be on-line and be able to treat it as a pc should be treated.

Please, Victor, take me, take me in manly arms

Where's rosie, she understands me.
Posted by Sul, 12:21, 14th March 2003:

No, she fears you, I wouldnt be suprised if she's down the copshop getting the worlds first internet restraining order. That doesnt speak well for our chances with her sisters now does it!
Posted by Victor Menendez, 12:24, 14th March 2003:

Wow, im really fucking everything up today, no pc, not paid rent, Many-Monkeys has left the community and i have spiked our chances of defiling rosies fine sisters. sorry dude.

Vic, who do you work for?
Posted by Sul, 12:28, 14th March 2003:

and have you found your red pen for liverpool street?
Posted by Victor Menendez, 12:39, 14th March 2003:

I found my red pen but we have commissioned an 'Intrusive survey' oo-err, on liverpool street so i don't have to work on it for a couple of weeks.

I am a contractor for Fluor Daniels.

ah...
Posted by bored at work, 13:10, 14th March 2003:

Vic, what do you mean you have not paid your rent? last time I owed you money you were chasing it quicker than a rat up a drainpipe! Get it sorted.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 13:14, 14th March 2003:

I just sorted it,

You oweing me money = Give it back NOW!

Me oweing other people money = Get in line.
Posted by bored at work, 13:34, 14th March 2003:

Fair comment mate, I prioritise using a similar method myself. no coin = wait in line

Er, like, that computer is fucking super-expensive!
Buy it in bits and put it together yourself.
I recommend EBUYER =]

Seriously
Posted by chandler, 13:40, 14th March 2003:

512Mb ram on ebuyer is like £35
Think I shall be purchasing a couple of sticks.
Posted by bored at work, 13:42, 14th March 2003:

tell me what you want and IT guy here will build it for a small labour charge!
Posted by beargod, 14:01, 14th March 2003:

Dude Ebuyer sucks, I bought my PC in bits from it, received 2 hard drives rather then a stick of ram, had to use my own money to send the hard drive back, then my mother board and cpu broke, had to use my money to send them back too, I received a new mother board and waited weeks for the cpu finally i rang them up and they had run out of the CPU's and weren't going to tell me so I got a worse cpu from DABs for cheaper.

Then My PSU broke, so I thought fuck it and bought another from my highstreet shop then the hard drive broke, and it was a seagate so i bought one of them from my high street shop aswell.

This all happened in less then a year.

The point i am trying to make is go with DABs or a better more trust worthy online shop
Posted by chandler, 14:04, 14th March 2003:

other people must remember that beargod is the guy who screwed his motherboard directly onto the base plate of his case without suspending it on the plastic things and subsequently fried the damned thing.
Posted by beargod, 14:06, 14th March 2003:

No it worked fine after that actually, and nothing else was due to me anyway, it was all the components
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:06, 14th March 2003:

And also that he is the god of bears. Shouldn't forget that bit.
Posted by bored at work, 14:07, 14th March 2003:

Fair comment. It's not as bad if you see the guy who built your pc everyday of the week.
Posted by chandler, 14:08, 14th March 2003:

yeah yeah
Posted by chandler, 14:08, 14th March 2003:

it was the fur from his bear paws that messe the components up
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:09, 14th March 2003:

Beargod - Where did the name come from? It must be up there with "Bumdog" for unusual nicknames :)
Posted by beargod, 14:11, 14th March 2003:

I am fat, and was at school so people called me bear, but i also helped people and got a nickname of beargod
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:13, 14th March 2003:

At least there's some logic behind it, I s'pose. The whole bumdog/arsepuppy thing is quite random in comparison.
Posted by bored at work, 14:14, 14th March 2003:

Where did those names come from?
Posted by beargod, 14:18, 14th March 2003:

yes where?
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:22, 14th March 2003:

Ok, well a couple of years ago at uni, me, Jeff and a couple of others were doing an assignment on the Habbo Hotel chatroom thingy. We had to decide on aliases and all that, but me being a bit spaced out and monged at the time (sadly, if you met me you'd realise this isn't at all rare), the first thing that came to my head was "Bumdog". Fuck Knows Why. I'm not a dog, or into bums so it's especially weird. Anyway, from then on I have been referred to as Bumdog. A few people who call me that don't even know my real name or anything. It's kind of evolved a bit though, I get called stuff like bumpuppy and Dog of Bum and stuff sometimes.

The Arsepuppy thing is kind of an evolution except it started as part of my stalking of Jess (only joking). To disguise my identity, I chose the name Arsepuppy for here because nobody would ever guess it's me, because "Arsepuppy" is nothing like "Bumdog" at all. No way.

Anyway, shit story, dunno why I bothered now.
