I am new. I have to say, I honestly don't know why I'm at this site, I just kind of found it and you all seemed to have some pretty cool conversations so I thought I'd join in! Heh.

Anyways, about me...I am from Missouri, U.S of A. I really, really, really love music. Its actually pretty sad how much I love music. I listen to any and all music, you name it, I probably like it. Uhhh...I like a good read, to watch good movies, and I like to check out local bands. Thats all I have to say about myself for now I guess.

You mean "The Soft Bulletin"?? Or their actual first one? (they've been around for 20 years, they've done shitloads :) ).
Posted by RUSS, 11:16, 24th March 2003:

Not heard their earlier stuff, but I've heard it's good. Some of the mid-period stuff is pretentious wank though.

Hello Ultrafred.

I didnt like The Soft Bulletin. My last album bought was The Streets - Original Pirate Material. Not my usual cup of tea but there you go.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 11:30, 24th March 2003:

I'm thinking of getting that, is it any good?
Posted by Sul, 11:33, 24th March 2003:

There's a few good tracks on it. I'm not normally into all that sort of crap but it does have a certain unique quality. Cant place my finger on it.

The latest album I've bought is Transa - Chronology. Two CDs (21 tracks) of superb melodic, dark, moody dance. Highlights include excellent tracks such as Rotation, Give Up The Ghost, Timeless and Supernova. Buy it!

Last cds I bought (at the same time) were Rage Against The Machien - The Battle of Los Angeles and The Mad Caddies - Duck and Cover. I also bought Transformers season one on DVD at the same time (which is just too cool for words)

The last album I bought? I really don't collect albums. I think I might have 4 or 5 CD's floating around the house or in my car or somewhere. The last album I bought was a Jazz album. I know that it is by Walter Beasley or something, but I cannot remember the album title.

Last album I bought was...I think, Gwar's "Violence has Arrived" and if it wasn't that then I'm pretty sure it was Portishead's "Dummy".

And thanks for the welcome.
