Bad drivers!

I saw 3 idiots on the road this afternoon. All within 10 minutes time!

The first one wanted to make a left turn from the far right lane. (mind you that in the USA we drive on the right side of the road as opposed to the left side..) anyway The road is 6 lanes wide and he pulled in front of me and the car that is in the lane to the left of me to get into a turn lane.

Ok, The second Idiot I saw was at a Wendys drive thru. The bitch was trying to go into the drive thru lane by entering the exit! I see this stupidity about 3 out of 5 times that I go to that Wendys. I then pointed to the exit sign and shouted a few colorful metaphors and proceeded to the drive thru and thusly blocked her from entering.

Third, There was a moron who wanted to make a left turn, but there is an island in the middle of the road preventing left turns so the idiot decides that it is ok for him to drive down the wrong side of the road for a bit so that he can make his left turn! Maybe he thought he was in london...

whew, that takes a load off of my chest..

ok.. what irritates you people?

Wendys is a burger joint. It is a bit better than McDonalds or Burger King in my opinion.

I just thought of something else...

When I go to a store such as Best Buy and I buy something that has one of those electronic inventory control devices on it that set off an alarm if you try to steal it. I never steal things from stores, but what REALLY pisses me off is when I pay the clerk for the item and then as I walk out the door the alarm goes off. I had this happen to me a few times so now I always ask the clerk if they disabled the alarm for this item and I tell them that I will speak with their boss if the alarm goes off for an item that I paid for.

i was recently in LA, and that happened to us, walking through JC Penny. We'd bought stuff from this cool skate boutique, but they'd left the tags on. we set off the alarm when we went into JC Penny, and no one cared, but when we tried to leave the security guard thought we looked like theives. urgh

Things that irritate me: Big fat 47 year old american truckers pretending to be innocent 20-something women on the internet with a cowboy fixation. *Looks innocently around for annoying over-asterix-using people*

I never did like JC Penny stores. I bought my girlfriend a coat at a penneys store and I put it on the JC Penney credit card. Then I was a slacker and forgot to make the payment on my card so they cancelled my card because I was 30 days late on a total balance of $43. I finally paid them, but I then found out that it is still on my credit report after 9 years so I wrote a nasty letter to JC Penneys and complained.

Credit reports irritate me too.

regarding setting of alarms in shops:
when I was in new york a few months ago, we designated one day to shopping, and every shop i went in, towards the end of the day, i set off the security alarms. each one searched my bags but couldnt find any thing with a security tag left on.

so at the end of a long day of shopping and about 5 bag-searches, i get back to the hotel and brush my hair, and the brush gets stuck on a stick-on-security tag. i realised it must have come off a top i was trying on and gotten stuck in my hair. felt p r e t t y d a m n s t u p i d.

What irratates me:
1.Young 'women' pushing prams about on a Sat afternoon when i am moving from pub to pub, there should be a lane for prams, or a certain time they are allowed in the city centre.
2. Horses on the road! Go to a field!
3. Celery, there is no need for it, anytime, anywhere.

Things that irritate me.

Fat people on public transport. They should pay extra.
Slow-moving tourists in central London. I'm beginning to entertain fantasies whereby I set about hordes of Americans and Japanese with a scythe.
Arsenal football club. Self-satisfied wankers.

1. ppl who say "erm" every other word.
2. ppl who don't indicate
3. ppl who say "Whatever" when you ask them a question.
4. The fact that I have to pay poll tax irritates me.
5. Birds who shit all over my car when I've just forked out a fiver to get the thing washed.
6. ppl who think that men are better than women.

:)

Theres many more but I'll stop for now.

People who dont indicate
ppl who think that women are better than men
ppl who assume sexism to men is ok cos it is women "getting their own back"

Diamond insurance annoys me. If there was an insurance company "just for blokes" there'd be an uproar of man haters demanding it should not be allowed because it's sexist.

the iceland ones used to really piss me off.

"Making life easier for mum"
"That's why mum's been to iceland"

Annoying cos of the assumptions it makes. My dad does most of the food shopping in our house.
Posted by Sul, 12:52, 7th April 2003:

Same here. My old man works his fingers to the bone. My mums a lazy cow. When I lived indoors I used to dread my mums cooking. She's shit at it.
Posted by chandler, 12:58, 7th April 2003:

my mum is the cook, thats why my dad offers to do a lot of the food shopping. swings and roundabouts and all that.

"when I lived indoors"

do you live outside now then?
like in a tent or kennel or box?

:D

I tell you what else annoyed me the other day. I was sitting in the waiting room at the dentist and the tv was on showing how to look after your teeth and all that shit. And there was this poor old monkey called Kirby on the tv, who has been forced in to this dungaree affair with a baseball cap and was getting his teeth poked around. It really pissed me off that they were poking around this fucking monkeys mouth.

I don't know how ppl can do that to animals.

END OF RANT. sorry!
Posted by Sul, 13:25, 7th April 2003:

Chay: Hehehe yes a tent. With all my lovely wives.

Rosie: Be thankful he wasnt dancing on a hotplate like my monkey.

Oooh! Reverse racism annoys me.

Once, I was going to get a job, and the guy brought me into his office and said "You're the best guy for the job, but we can't employ you, we have to employ a non-english person to keep our numbers up, we're sorry, it's over our heads." and there is nothing English people can do about it.

GRRRRRRRRRR.

Isn't positive discrimination illegal?
Posted by amightygoodleader, 13:37, 7th April 2003:

Nope, perfectly doable unless you want to go all European Court of Human Rights on them, most companies tend to be a little more covert about it though.
