I need some cheering up. Maybe I am just being to emotional today and letting the little things bother me.

I guess I should give some back ground. My friend lost his job, so instead of looking for employment he has been playing EverQuest non-stop and not sleeping. I don't mind him playing his games, I am really fine with that, but damn I need some attetion also. I awoke this morning to find him still at the computer and I was annoyed. He said your pissed at me for not giving you sex last night. This really upset me, cause it doesn't have anything to do with sex. If it had to do with sex, I could get that anytime, anywhere. The simple fact is play your game, but also take time to spend with those who care for you.

So there it is and I am drepressed, annoyed and my feelings are hurt. What to say, what to do? This I don't know.

I will go to his house today, collect my things and go home and he can call me when he wants to grow up and become the responsible person that I knew a long time ago.

*pouting*

oh this is a "friend with benefits"

" it had to do with sex, I could get that anytime, anywhere"

Yeah, no need to boast girl! :D

if he'd rather play everquest than spend "quality" time with you, there is something wrong with him :)

EverQuest kicks ass.

Nov, i am not the best at giving advice cause i am a bit of a fuck up myself...but..

Have you had a word with your friend about this? Maybe you should sit him down and explain that you need/want him to pay more attention to you instead of his PC. This, i think, would be better than collecting your things and kind of escalating the problem. Bearing in mind he might not be in the best of moods considering he has lost his job.

Sorry if this doesn help but i tried ;o)

Nov,

Kick his computer in, kick him in and then make up.

Making up is the best bit!

See problem solved!

:D

It has been discussed FL. I told him that he hurt my feelings and I told him how and why. I just got a kiss goodbye and I'll see you when you get home. I am a very logical person and I don't get upset that often and him playing doesn't bother me, but there has to be an equal amount of time with both. I don't like it when someone tells me "I'm going to send soemtime with you" but yet plays the game all night. Had he said nothig to that, I wouldn't have gotten upset.

had no choice but to hear you
You stated your case time and again
I thought about it
You treat me like I'm a princess
I'm not used to liking that
You ask me how my day was
Chorus:
You've already won me over in spite of me
Don't be alarmed if I fall head over feet
Don't be suprised if I love you for all that you are
I couldn't help it
It's all your fault
Your love is thick and it swallowed me whole
Your'e so much braver than I gave you credit for
That's not lip service
Repeat Chorus
You are the bearer of unconditional things
You held your breath and the door for me
Thanks for your patience
You're the best listener that I've ever met
You're my best friend
Best friend with benefits

What took me so long
I've never felt this healthy before
I've never wanted something rational
I am aware now
I am aware now

My girl's mad at me
I didn't wanna see the film tonight
I found it hard to say
She thought I'd had enough of her
Why can't she see
She's lovely to me?
But I like to stay in
And watch TV on my own
Every now and then

My girl's mad at me
Been on the telephone for an hour
We hardly said a word
I tried and tried but I could not be heard
Why can't I explain?
Why do I feel this pain?
'Cause everything I say
She doesn't understand
She doesn't realise
She takes it all the wrong way

My girl's mad at me
We argued just the other night
I thought we'd got it straight
We talked and talked until it was light
I thought we'd agreed
I thought we'd talked it out
Now when I try to speak
She says that I don't care
She says I'm unaware
And now she says I'm weak

Nov,
Does he drink alot as well?

Talking from experience you need to give him a gentle push towards the employment agencies. My fellow was off work for about 5 months before deciding to work a couple of hours a day down the pub! Its got to be sorted nov, otherwise hes really going to start to taking the piss.
( although my bloke is an alcholic, so it may be different in your case!)

Maybe you could tactfully go through the job ads in the local paper or something??

Hope you sort it nov

:)

well give him a break! losing your job sucks! maybe he just needs time to himself, to kick back and lose himself in the computer for a bit.

though obviously if i had to choose between you i wouldnt pick the computer.

Well if you friend with benefits hadn't just lost his job I'd say kick his head and computer in but cut the guy some slack as he's probably quite blue at the moment. Go and ring him up and talk it over :-)

Last night I got over to My friends house and he had cleaned the apartment, did our laundry and had dinner made with candles and all that jazz. I was sitting on the couch and he looked at me, laid his head in my lap and said I'm sorry, I'm a fuck up, can you forgive me. He also told me that he picked up the phone a couple of times to call and apologize, but figured that I needed some cooling down time. He said that he thought I was going to smack him after what he had said, and I came really close to. Then we cuddled and took a bath together.

Rosie: You are right making up is the best part. :)Lets just say that I slept very well last night.
