Bring a dog. Everyone loves dogs. They are funny and you can eat their legs, just like homeless people do. So I'm told.

Midgie repellent?
Posted by chandler, 14:40, 17th April 2003:

oh and if you bleed on anything dont hang it up outside the tent to dry or else a bear will come and tear you apart. I've seen it in a filum
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:40, 17th April 2003:

Yeah, Midge Ure can fuck right off. He didn't do anything worthwhile after leaving Ultravox.
Posted by ilovebeerme, 14:41, 17th April 2003:

Mallet to get that last bastard tent peg in.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:42, 17th April 2003:

Thats why i want repellent!
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:42, 17th April 2003:

beer..got one in the tent bag. ;)
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:43, 17th April 2003:

Chay, thanks for the advice but i dont think bears live in Scotland.
Posted by ilovebeerme, 14:44, 17th April 2003:

Don't forget the anti-psycho repellent. Which Loch you off to?
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:48, 17th April 2003:

Loch Tummel i think, either that or lomond.
Posted by beargod, 14:53, 17th April 2003:

Cheese, and milk
Posted by plindoe, 14:55, 17th April 2003:

BOTTLE OPENER (CANT BE ARSED READING THE BIG LIST TO SEE IF ITS ON!)

...AND A TIN OPENER (AGAIN AS ABOVE)
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:56, 17th April 2003:

plindoe, have these on my trusty swiss army knife
Posted by beargod, 14:59, 17th April 2003:

you never said you were taking the swiss army knife
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:04, 17th April 2003:

Well i know..sorry about that.
Posted by chandler, 15:05, 17th April 2003:

fl - that's what the bears want you to think. The only people who do see them become bear food, so they dont get to tell anyone else
Posted by beargod, 15:09, 17th April 2003:

well if Dog Soldiers is real, which it seemed to be, with those lifelike army dudes, whatch out for warewolves, although, they are supposed to be dead compared to that magnificent documentary, takes some reallt corney lines with you just incase
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:17, 17th April 2003:

I shall take that onboard Chay, and keep a sharp look out for bears.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:18, 17th April 2003:

beargod..i have no idea what you are trying to say there *confused*
Posted by beargod, 15:20, 17th April 2003:

There are were wolves in the Scottish countryside, compared to Dog soldiers
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:24, 17th April 2003:

oh right...something else to look out for then.
Posted by ilovebeerme, 15:28, 17th April 2003:

I'm camping out this weekend too. Gonna get all dressed up in a spangly dress and wear loads of make up.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:32, 17th April 2003:

Nothing unusual there then, you do live in edinburger
Posted by chandler, 15:38, 17th April 2003:

a sharp stick is better than a sharp lookout when it comes to bears
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:41, 17th April 2003:

or a big gun?!
Posted by chandler, 15:51, 17th April 2003:

no cos you will get pissed and shoot yourself. you can use the big pointy stick and wedge it into the ground when the bear leaps at you and then the bear falls on the stick and its body weight pushes the stick through the bear and then you have a bear kebab and it doesnt kill you any more.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:53, 17th April 2003:

Chay, amazing! I shall build my defences before i start drinking.
Posted by chandler, 15:59, 17th April 2003:

good idea cos you dont want to have to worry about that sort of thing when you are pissed
Posted by beargod, 15:59, 17th April 2003:

maybe a wall of pointy sticks, with silver ones behind it just incase of the ware wolves
Posted by RUSS, 16:04, 17th April 2003:

i am camping tomorrow night also, i am doing anight fishing
Posted by beargod, 16:05, 17th April 2003:

Posted by Redmaiden, 19:51, 17th April 2003:

I'm sure they can
Posted by earthworm, 21:28, 17th April 2003:

Other things to look our for whilst fishing are the Deformed Sea Bass with Fricken laser beams attached to their heads... I heard on the news that some had escaped whilst shooting Austin Powers Goldmember...

Mike Myers was hauled over the coals for that one...

I suggest a coat made of the purest lead and lace (for the frills)

Mithrill

Yeah, this lucid Doctor just got back from a few days of Kamping down in the fair county of devon. And it was cool. Got my face burnt though. Held it up against the heated back of one of those Lucozade fridges they have in Londis.
