Since I'm new here, (I only found the site whilst searching for answers for that travesty that is the net riddle) and not that familiar with forums etc. Is there any particular etiquette that I should respect?

Can someone not hold an opinion on something that is differnt to your own? Surely personal dislike does not mean you are "stupid".

Macs are ok for publishing, that's about it. They are useless for gamers, they have far less applications, they only have one mouse button, they concentrate more on "looking pretty" than performance, and all my experiences with them have been bad. They are also an arse to support.

Actually windows is the most annoying OS for me, I prefer Linux and Mac os, but they are both very similar OS's now anyway

well that's really not true. i can run os classic apps, carbon apps, cocoa apps, unix command line apps and X11 apps. that's more applications than run natively on windows. games aside, i doubt you use any software that you can't get for the mac

Maybe OS X is different, but when I had to support Macs at two seperate internet co's, it was not fun in the slightest, my current office doesn't support them, and won't help to get them on the network
