2 films on DVD.

Blade Runner - Directors cut, for £6, and South West 9 for £4 - does anyone know if either of them or any good, or have I just wasted some money? :\

Blade Runner's a goodie.

Never heard of South West so I couldn't really comment, but Blade Runner is definately one of my favourites. Not everyone's cup of tea but I think it's great.

Rutger Hauer's monologue is awesome...

Sounds alright.

Yeah, but consider that the reviewer lives in the area and sounds like he is into that stuff anyway. In fact, I guess it makes no difference now cos' you've bought it. if you don't like it there's always Ebay!

I hope you like Blade Runner though.

I bought Blade Runner a while ago, but I never liked it
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:10, 13th May 2003:

It's a slow-paced film, yes.

But it looks good. And it was a Ridley Scott film when Ridley Scott films fucking ruled. Unlike now :(

Yes. I even liked Legend...

*ducks*

I got Legend on DVD the other day aswell, aint seen it yet.

Infact, I think I have a very expensive obsession with DVD's recently, I just got the following from play.com (well, just ordered)

1) Little Shop of Horrors (The Musical version, already have the 1960 version on DVD)
2) Red Dwarf Series 1 (curse the person that was talking about it on here today)
3) Back to the Future Box Set (Clasic)
4) The Exorcist - Director's Cut (another clasic film)
5 and 6) The Essex Boys and Bound - the only reason I got these was because it was 2 for 1, however i'm tempted to cancel these ones :\

Bound is definately worth a watch, real classy in my opinion, but I haven't heard much about Essex Boys, something about a British gangster flick I think.
