Posted by Greeny, 14:16, 13th May 2003:

Why are you having a bad day Victor?
Posted by Victor Menendez, 14:25, 13th May 2003:

Work related annoyances mainly.
Posted by beargod, 14:29, 13th May 2003:

I think work should be banned
Posted by Greeny, 14:34, 13th May 2003:

Or at least a three day week
Posted by Greeny, 14:36, 13th May 2003:

Hey Victor, there can't be too long to go now before you're at home having a beer or a smoke or whatever...
Posted by Victor Menendez, 14:36, 13th May 2003:

long enough not to want to start clockwatching.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 14:42, 13th May 2003:

I will immerse myself in attempting to find a route for a 48-core ring seal fibre at Finsbury Park station.
Posted by Greeny, 14:44, 13th May 2003:

Wouldn't it be great if you could buy clocks with something on them, like porn, or something interesting to look at - clockwatching wouldn't be such a bad thing then.
Posted by beargod, 14:45, 13th May 2003:

I want a bath

48 CORE RING SEAL FIBRE ROUTE

A new 48-core fibre cable will be installed between the A1 (PIC) Splice Box and a Fibre Joint Box at the Railtrack level. Moving this fibre between the LUL boundary and Fibre Joint will be the responsibility of Thales. FGS will leave 25 metres of cable at the boundary.

The Ring Seal Cable will be installed from the A1 (PIC) Splice Box location (2/236), Through a new cored hole into the Northbound Platform 1 invert. From there it will run on new ā€˜J’ Hangers until it reaches stairs (1/567) where it will pass through existing ducts to the center of the shaft. The cable will then run through an existing cored hole into the Riser where it will run on new containment fixed to new girder clamps and Unistrut to the top of the riser. The cable will then run on new containment across the entrance to the riser (1/632) and across area 1/955 on new containment at High level to a new cored hole in the back wall. The cored hole will be the LUL boundary. See Diagrams 6 and 7. Pictures.

The cable length from the A1 (PIC) Splice Box to the Thales Joint Transition Point (TP), including terminations is 165 Metres.

All associated Enabling Works are contained within Appendix 04 of this Document.

i'm also having a day that The Big Guy Upstairs hath wiped his arse upon. the good news is that tommorow is only 56 minutes away, a day that many are anticipating to contain: rainbows, free cigarettes, indefinite postponement of exams and all that stuff you wished you could undo being undone. yay!

ps: rainbows as in the pretty things in the sky, not the small girls.
