When you read other people's replies in your head, in which voice do you read them?

i.e. What do you think they sound like? (not including those you've met/heard on the "What Do You Sound Like?" thread..)
Posted by beargod, 15:13, 13th May 2003:

I just read them in my own voice, I don't try and see who they are
Posted by chandler, 15:15, 13th May 2003:

well i try to just read them, but when i started talking to Emma on the phone rahter than just here and MSN it was hard to get used to at first cos my brain kept saying "she doesnt sound like that on MSN!"

(but she sounds lovely anyway)

Posted by arsepuppy, 15:20, 13th May 2003:

I'll get in trouble for saying this, but reading Cal's posts to myself have never been the same since Jess said "He's a bit camp" :)

on the same theme, when i got Monkey Island 3 and heard Governor Marley's accent, i said to the people i was with "she doesnt have an american accent in the first two games" :D

it was then pointed out to me that they dont HAVE voices in the first two games

i felt silly!

the brain is a strange thing!
:D

Posted by Greeny, 15:26, 13th May 2003:

That's an interesting question, with this site, I had the liberty of checking out pictures before really starting to post so I guess I made up my mind from the photo's rather than the posts. But, I guess I make up a voice based on the post AND the photo...

For anyone who has never heard Cal. He sounds nothing like what he looks. Far more gentile.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 15:32, 13th May 2003:

Posted by arsepuppy, 15:35, 13th May 2003:

"Far more gentile."

As is "not Jewish"?

Does that mean no talking about goyim, or starting broyguses? (broygi?)

Well I don't have a Welsh accent, or so I'm told EVERY FUCKING DAY!

"Oh, you're Welsh are you? You don't have an accent!"

ARGGGGHHH!

If I was Ogre out of "Revenge of the Nerds" I would twat everyone that said that. And then probably grunt "NERDS!" or something.
Posted by Greeny, 16:36, 13th May 2003:

I've got a pretty strong Northern accent, but it's become narrower since I've lived in Cardiff
Posted by earthworm, 16:39, 13th May 2003:

Where do you come from Greeny??
Posted by Greeny, 16:41, 13th May 2003:

Born in Plymouth, lived in Halifax most of my life, then moved to Cardiff in '95, spent 18 months in Oz and now back living in Cardiff. You?
Posted by earthworm, 16:49, 13th May 2003:

Newcastle... well, Durham... Lived here all my life...
Posted by beargod, 16:50, 13th May 2003:

why do you say Newcastle when you live in Durham, Durham is big enought for most people to know
Posted by earthworm, 16:51, 13th May 2003:

Some people don't... I live in the middle of both actually... in a small town called Chester-le-Street... we however are big enough to hold an International Cricket ground though...
Posted by arsepuppy, 16:53, 13th May 2003:

Birthplace of one Mr. Bryan Robson, no less.
Posted by earthworm, 16:54, 13th May 2003:

Rosie- do you sound like Ali G?
Posted by Greeny, 17:29, 13th May 2003:

Nowt wrong with Bryan Robson, he single-handedly kept Band-Aid plasters in business during the eighties and nineties.
Posted by Redmaiden, 18:41, 13th May 2003:

I don't have accents for people more inflections..hard to describe but I only really put voices to people on MSN
Posted by arsepuppy, 09:09, 14th May 2003:
