back in feburary i moaned about ebuyer and someone suggested using easytrader. it should have been www.easyetrader.com . does anyone have any experience with them?

the tale has been updated, thanks to iamcal board member Greeny

Grr - bloody Ebuyer sent me some RAM instead of a hard drive yesterday.

Grumble grumble...

You've had more than enough warning from people on this site to be honest :/

But they were cheapest =[

You get what you pay for. The bastards still OWE me a stick of RAM!

I've never had a problem with ebuyer - use them frequently.

that's all very well james, but you've seen the problems that *lots* of other people have had. they are blatently not a good supplier, and certainly not one that i'll allow to be recommended on this site. so stop it!

I know that /some/ people have had a problem, but that's always going to be the case - I'd still use them even if I did have problems because of the price of them, but that's just me.

i don't care if you use them. but do not jump in with a "well i use them, they're great for me" comment again. it's tedious

Ah, but in the same vain, "They screwed up for me so the must be crap" is just the same.
Companies are always going to make mistakes with orders and stuff (but Buy.com still need to be avoided at all costs)...

not the same vein at all. all companies make mistakes. only really bad companies make so many mistakes and refuse to rectify them. couple that with the fact they've made sure they are uncontactable, have many outstanding lawsuits with annoyed customers, etc. etc.

i honestly don't care AT ALL who you buy things from. As i said above, you've had more than enough warning from people on this site. but YOU WILL stop recommending ebuyer on the site or you will be banned. that goes for both of you.

Just quickly, they not only sorted out my Hard Drive problem very quickly, but they refunded my postage and packing and gave me £30 off the HDD.

Doesn't mean I'll ever use them again =]
