g'day
my weekend was alright - went to southport on saturday to do some shopping, went to see X-Men 2 again, went to southport again on Sunday - returned some shopping that didnt fit my bird, went for an all you can eat chinese, booked tickets for Matrix 2 on Wednesday night, went home, watched the first episode of "Taken". err, also watched a few more dvd's, bought Worms (original) for PSX and played a few gamecube games.
Today I have so far done a bit or work, ordered Zelda and bomberman from play.com and posted here

I went to the Royal Shakespeare Company Open Day at Stratford-Upon-Avon on Sunday

there were talks on Shakespeare's women and the director of A Midsummer Nights Dream that i saw a couple of years ago was talking about how they developed the set and costume and stuff. and then loads of actors shared some anecdotes with us and there was a practical session with an actor guy and we did personal space exercises and breathing exercises.
Which was nice.

i did some programming. it was fun
The seats at that theatre are the most uncomfortable in the world. Saw Twelth Night there, and in the third hour I thought I needed a poo but in reality I just had really bad stomach cramp because of the seats.
I went to leicester. Saw friends and girlfriend. Got drunk on 3 consecutive nights. Am planning to sue the Football Association for enough money to buy a new liver.
But I scored the winning goal for Arsenal, according to my drinking buddies.
"That Pires, he looks like you!" They said.
It may be time for a haircut. And a shave.

arsepuppy? which theatre the RST or the Swan? we were in the Swan, which is funky but there wasnt much legroom
I think it may have been the RST, but I've forgotten now. It was the one by the river if that helps. No legroom and lego-man chairs.
Pretty sure it was the RST actually.

i saw midsummer nights dream in there, but the seats were ok. but then it isnt an massivly long play. they are both by the river :D the swan is round the back. i expect it was the RST
I also got to see Xmen 2 this weekend and also Matrix reloaded.

I went down the pub a couple of nights. Played on the new golf machine they have down there (Golden Tee 2004), 3 rounds of golf coming to a hefty £12 but it was worth it, hours of fun and swearing at the machine. Didn't stay out late all weekend though. I think I was home by 10 every night......must be my age getting to me!!

Hmmm......I went to the pub on Saturday and nursed myself back to health on Sunday morning only then having to revise for the maths exam I had on Monday. The exam in hand was bloody awful.

reitsma, 02:21, 26th May 2003:
bowling?
is that what you guys call it in europe?
over here in Australia, we still haven't got a name for it yet.
get's pretty tiring - "what are you doing on the weekend?"
"oh, just throwing a heavy ball with holes in it along some wood, and into 10 wooden things."
...that's why i don't do it very often.

Did you ever throw the ball and couldn't get your fingers out in time, reitsma?
Posted by
reitsma, 23:42, 26th May 2003:
wolf - no. if your fingers don't get out, you don't throw the ball.
you'll find that works with a regular ball too - try and throw the ball without letting go.

why is this still the "topic of the day" when it hasnt been touched for over a week?
Posted by
chandler, 12:12, 4th June 2003:
cos im very lazy and cal even more so?
Posted by
chandler, 12:13, 4th June 2003:

jlittle, 12:19, 4th June 2003:
cant it be automated so it's the one with the most replies in that day?
Posted by
chandler, 12:22, 4th June 2003:
i dont know, ask flower hat boy. :)
but i like picking them when i can be arsed. sometimes nothing is worthy of being topic of the day.
Posted by
cal, 08:54, 5th June 2003:
it could be automated, but that would be something different. if you stop and think about it, dirty sanchez or some stupid game would be topic of the day. and that would suck alot
or that feckin Matrix thread!
Jesse!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
