I've got a really bad sore throat and a headache. I feel like I'm dead. I've been rowing with my b/f - I told him to go and get a job and he called me "controlling". I feel like jumping out the fucking window. I'm gonna lose my flat - coz all my lodgers have moved out and I can't afford the rent on my own. I necked a bottle of wine last night and I don't even drink! (I'm sure this is contributing to my headache).

What shall I do? To Jump OR Not To Jump - That Is The Question....
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 09:33, 20th May 2003:

Na, dont jump! Dont ever think that!

And can you tell me how it feels to be dead? Always wanted to know how that felt, without actually kickin it. :D
Posted by Rosie, 09:35, 20th May 2003:

It feels shit to be dead.

:(
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 09:35, 20th May 2003:

yes, just as i suspected.
Posted by Rosie, 09:36, 20th May 2003:

My eyeballs feel like they are on fire as does my arsehole.

:(

Rosie you are too good looking to kill yourself so don't
Posted by Rosie, 09:39, 20th May 2003:

But my arsehole hurts when I shit.

*cheap white wine*
Posted by arsepuppy, 09:41, 20th May 2003:

Buy a big doughnut to sit on. But please don't jump.
Posted by Rosie, 09:43, 20th May 2003:

I'm just moaning - as girls do from time to time. I don't mean it.

Everybody goes through shitty patches in their lives, don't they? It just doesn't help when your eyeballs ache and your ringo stings.

:/
Posted by cal, 09:45, 20th May 2003:

i thought that you said you'd been rowwing with your b/f. as in, in a boat. that would make me upset too.

cheer up, at least you have us. oh. i see what you mean.

;)
Posted by arsepuppy, 09:45, 20th May 2003:

I had a really shit night last night too. Don't really want to talk about it though.
Posted by Rosie, 09:47, 20th May 2003:

Cal: If I had been rowwing with him it may have been alright!
AP: Does your bum hurt too?
Posted by arsepuppy, 09:48, 20th May 2003:

Rosie: Thankfully not. Phew :)
Posted by Rosie, 09:52, 20th May 2003:

It seemed like such a good idea last night. I thought i'd get out my head and forget about everything. But it didn't help at all, in fact it made it 100 times worse. I puked all over the bathroom ( long stringy puke for some reason) and sat crying in the kitchen listening to Magic on the radio till 12.30. I think I'd still half cut now. This is why i don't drink.

Christ I'm crap.
Posted by ilovebeerme, 09:56, 20th May 2003:

You're not crap at all (sorry if this offends) but your boyfriend is. Don't never speak to me again but it sounds like you could do much better Rosie.

Hope you fell better soon. Oh and try sticking and ice cube up it :D .
Posted by Rosie, 10:03, 20th May 2003:

I like the ice cube idea! Ohhh Heaven! Unfortunately there are no ice cubes in my office. I've got a coke machine though.......

UPDATE: Have just called Simon and asked if we could be friends again.I apologised for sicking up string in the bathroom which he had to clean up. He said it doesn't matter. So hopefully things will get sorted now. Maybe. One day.

I didn't have any dinner last nite so I'm going to the shop to buy a nutra grain bar...
Posted by beargod, 10:09, 20th May 2003:

I'm ill, my arsehole hurts too. My lungs are giving out on me, as well. The world is all fluffy and smelling of bile.

There's your bit of sympathy.
and yes, I am some random person no-one knows. go me.
Posted by Rosie, 12:40, 20th May 2003:

Yay! Its good to know that I'm not the only one suffering in the bottom department today.

I well need another pony, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna put myself through the pain again.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 12:42, 20th May 2003:

Are you Ivan Drago of "I must break you" fame?
Posted by Rosie, 12:47, 20th May 2003:

You've frightened him off Vic!
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:48, 20th May 2003:

"Eeeef 'e dieess, 'eee dieesss"
Posted by Victor Menendez, 12:49, 20th May 2003:

Thats the one.
Posted by Drago, 12:50, 20th May 2003:

Nope. I'm the "Drago" of "chose a gay net monkier for myself before I knew much about snooker or history" fame.

I also made my way here from FFOUK. Which will mean little to you.

However, I'm a Geordie, so that must make me cool. As well as ineducated.

And yes, I've been putting off taking a crap all day. I'm blaming the sea-food, drink and narcotics. Dunno if tobacco is bad for your [bowels].

Oh, and more sympathy Rosie: I broke up with my girlfriend a few days ago for a stupid reason, and am busy being all forlorn and sexless.
Posted by Rosie, 12:51, 20th May 2003:

make up with her then! Or did she dump you? Is that too personal?

Give us the goss..

if u want.
Posted by Drago, 12:55, 20th May 2003:

Oh, it was all terribly adult. I have AS-Levels, she plays basketball internationally. So me, revision every night etc... (well, not really). Her; actual training every night, games at the weekend, and she's off to Luxembourg for a week soon to play a tournament.

So of course, the wonderful person she is, decides that rather than us get all bitter and paranoid because we don't see each other, we "have a break". Now, being the hater of clichés that I am, I am disgusted by this. Neither of us are happy (it's been almost a week), so I'm thinking how to sort this out.

It kinda sucks.

(I always have "I dated an England international" as my back-up comfort.)
Posted by Rosie, 12:59, 20th May 2003:

Saying you want a break is a bit of a cop out! Maybe she will see the error of her ways and come back for you?

:)
Posted by Drago, 13:01, 20th May 2003:

Maybe she's tried it already and I'm giving her a taste of her own medicine. :D

It took 3 months of hideous, amusing, life-force-draining and ultimately enjoyable flirting to get together in the first place :P. Not sure I'm physically up to that right now.
Posted by sal, 13:03, 20th May 2003:

lol, Rosie you rock, this thread is brilliant :D
hope you feel better! (according to this flowchart thingy-ma-bob from nhsdirect you should be eating lots of fibre like whole grain bread, rice and pasta)
Posted by Drago, 13:06, 20th May 2003:

I have cheese... and bread... that's about it.

And no nice whole-grain stuff either, shitty bleached white bread.
Posted by November Eclectica, 14:02, 20th May 2003:

Rosie,

I hope you start feeling better soon. Take a warm bubble bath and just relax. That always helped me when I had to much to drink and also getting some food into your system will help.

Huggles!!
Posted by Rosie, 14:10, 20th May 2003:

Cheers
:)

UPDATE: simon and I have fallen out again! Basically he said I'm not good enough for him. CUNTS. I hate my life.
Posted by arsepuppy, 16:18, 20th May 2003:

He sounds like a shmuck. You deserve better.
Posted by Rosie, 16:21, 20th May 2003:

We used to live in a pub till he walked out. Now the pub has been taken over by a new person and is shutting soon for a refurb. He Is upset that HIS pub is being shut down and to quote the man himself, " I don't want to be in this flat with you, I want to be in my pub" Bearing in mind this man doesn' t have a job and never goes without anything - i think hes being a bit harsh.

;(
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 16:22, 20th May 2003:

Rosie, it wont take long but i could come down there and have a serious word with this Simon (I can be scary when i want)
Posted by beargod, 16:24, 20th May 2003:

Rosie he sounds silly and doesn't repreasent all us simons out there
Posted by Rosie, 16:29, 20th May 2003:

Hes depressed at the moment. One of our friends died of cancer the other week and hes taking it really bad. Hes drinking more. ( he starts at 10 in the morning!) and also I think he blames me for losing his pub.

I told him the other day I need him to get a job otherwise I would have to get a 2nd job after work and he still hasn't done anything about getting work...
Posted by donnie, 16:31, 20th May 2003:

Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 16:32, 20th May 2003:

does what?
Posted by arsepuppy, 16:36, 20th May 2003:

Rosie: Was that the funeral you had the other day? My girlfriend's dad's funeral was on the same day. He died of cancer too.

I hope Simon gets better, I know all too well about being depressed. Although I don't think he should take it out on you.

:)
Posted by arsepuppy, 16:37, 20th May 2003:

p.s. I only asked about the funeral thing because it was quite a strange, but sad coincidence.
Posted by Rosie, 16:48, 20th May 2003:

It was my friend Paul. He was only 37. He has a little boy called james who is 5 and his wife has just had a baby called andy. Andy is 2 months old. It was all very sad. But Paul had had enough of being poked about and going into hospitals and he wanted to die in the end. He was a funny guy and we miss him loads.

Ap, he wont go to the drs, he thinks he can just get drunk and it will make it better!
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 16:51, 20th May 2003:

Rosie, i speak from experience here:

He needs to accept it, it has happened and he needs to look into the future, not the past. Its not a bad thing for him to start enjoying himself.

That is all i am saying on this subject.
Posted by angel_mouse, 17:04, 20th May 2003:

a friend of mine's mum died of breast cancer last week.
she's coping worryingly well, but in her own words, when you spend a year and a half dreading something, when it happens i feels like an anti-climax.
Posted by Rosie, 17:06, 20th May 2003:

Yeah, i sort of understand that. We knew it would get him in the end. He told us that he wanted to die coz he had enuff of it all. I just think of his poor wife and kids.

:(
Posted by beargod, 17:13, 20th May 2003:

that sounds pretty much like my dad, then he was put on lots of drugs and it wasn't him anymore, then he died
