Hey Nov!
Describe your tattoo to us!?
:)
Foghorn you are such a good guesser. It is the Barcid Bat and it looks awesome. It turned out better then I thougt it would. Will post pictures when I get them back from development.
ive had a fun day being prodded in the tummy by various medical staff.
it was only 6 hours though... not quite nov's 8.
i went to the doctors because ive had some nasty tummy virus for a few days, and she went "erm... i think you're going to need to go and get a 'surgical opinion'" (me: " ahhhhhhh why? why? what have i done? what are they going to do to be? ahhh") "i think you might have apendicitis (i still havent learnt how to spell it)
so then i went on a nice drive to hemel general, because st albans isnt cool enough to have its own hospital. there i sat on a bed for about... 3 hours maybe, where i was poked in the tummy by two surgeons and had 'samples' taken :s.
and then they FINALLY come down and said 'yep, you're fine. go away'.
so that was my little adventure. i hate hospitals.
ooh that's a bad way to spend a bank holiday angel_mouse :(

Angel mouse, I can totally sympathise. When I was younger I went to the cinema to watch men in black. Went in fine and came out with apendicitis. Cue a night of pain, vomiting and morphine followed by surgery the next morning. At least you escaped the surgery :)
Nov: I got a tattoo too a couple of months ago. We should start a "so you've scarred yourself for life young man/lady" thread and encourage everyone to get inked and post pics :)
Luke:
That would be awesome. Although I need to get my pictures back first.

ah the local nhs...st albans does have a hospital (my mum used to work there).. which is very useful if you're a diabetic or you need an xray... they made me sit around in one of those gowns (mm hey look at my pants!) for about 20 minutes in a corridor while they fixed the x-ray machine they jokingly accused me of breaking...
heh heh. yeah, but its only a minor injuries unit now and some other faffy useless bits, but no casualty.
or something like that, so that it works out that if you have a hideous accident in the middle of st albans, you have to go on a 25 minute journey to hemel (via the magic roundabout) rather than a 2 minute journey to st albans hospital. great huh?
I've scarred myself for life! I have piercings wooo
