The first Matrix movie has alot of things that foreshadow and suggest integral parts of Reloaded, and I'll assume that it and Reloaded suggestion components of Revolutions. I'll be constantly editing this post as I find new components that are relevant...
When the agents capture Neo and interrogate him, we get a glance of the Architect's room. The camera starts off in his room (notice the array of screens?) and then goes "through" one of them, into the interrogation room.
When Morpheus first tells Neo that he thinks that he is The One, He basically explains the entire structure of the matrix, as outlined by the Architect, to Neo. It goes something like this:
"In the beginning of the resistance, there was a man born in the matrix who could change whatever he wanted, and remake the Matrix as he saw fit. He was the one who free'd the first of us. When he died, the Oracle prophesized his return, and that his return would signify the end of the war"
When Morpheus and Neo go to see the matrix, they enter a lobby of a tenemant building. As they walk to the elevator, theres an old, (apparently) blind man with a walking stick and dark glasses sitting across from the elevator. Morpheus nods. The blind man nods back. Maybe not so blind?
The blind man could be a different in-matrix representation of Seraph, the Oracle's body guard application.
When Smith is interrogating Morpheus, he explains how humanity is a virus, replicating, copying, spreading across the planet consuming resources until there are none left.
Ironically, or perhaps as self fulfilling prophecy, this is exactly what Smith does when he "breaks free of the control" of his agent programming in the Matrix.
if other people would post their thoughts id like to know them (especially vortexjjf)

Yes. Sad people. Who smell of spit due to wanking too much.

i do not understand this statement, yet find it mildly amusing
A friend of mine used to be really into star trek. His room used to smell of saliva. I put 2 and 2 together and assumed that the smell was a result of him wanking constantly using spit as a makeshift knuckle-shuffle lubricant.

What, exactly, does saliva smell of?

yeah spit doesnt smell. unless you smoke
Dribble in the palm of your hand. Smell it. If you can't smell anything, it means you have hygiene issues and are so used to the smell you can't smell it.

I thought that if it
did smell of something (once it had dried) then you had bad breath.

if it does smell you know your breath is bad
hence licking the back of your hand and smelling it is much nmore effective than breathing into your hands and inhaling it, if you want to check your breath
Right then. No more smokes for me then.
He didn't smoke though. He just stank of wanking.
