Are you from Reading, Gobbo?? That's not far from where I am now.
Posted by beargod, 14:33, 27th June 2003:

Yes steve, Seamonkeys but not alive yet, had to wait 24 hours, bastard bacteria in the water.

I'm not sure about the gearbox, but I would assume so

And yes Gobbo is from reading
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:37, 27th June 2003:

I do my shopping in Reading. Despite being nearer to Oxford.
Posted by gobbo, 14:38, 27th June 2003:

Posted by arsepuppy, 14:39, 27th June 2003:

My g/f is away for a interview in Reading..there you go.
Posted by gobbo, 14:41, 27th June 2003:

you are joking - Reading is expensive, over crowded, the pubs shut early, the clubs are bollox and i am having real trouble getting a job - even toilet cleaners need previous experience over here! :)
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:42, 27th June 2003:

no joke..interview on Tuesday.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 14:45, 27th June 2003:

Eh? just read that again, what time do the pubs shut?
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:52, 27th June 2003:

Better than sodding Didcot though.

(Pubs close later though)
Posted by beargod, 15:18, 27th June 2003:

I tried driving through Reading the other day It was terrible, I somehoe went round in a big circle while following the same road, that went from east to west. whats going on there?
Posted by arsepuppy, 15:20, 27th June 2003:

You should visit Swindon, then. Fuck me, that place sucks.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:21, 27th June 2003:

Or East Kilbride! That place has about 100 roundabouts that all look the same..nightmare trying to find anything apart from roundabouts.

Very similar to Birmingham.

Congrats Gobbo.
You can code my 'Sim Night Club' game.
Posted by November Eclectica, 15:26, 27th June 2003:

If I came to visit, I wouldn't attempt to drive. that would way to scary for me.

Posted by gobbo, 19:32, 27th June 2003:

Posted by Sul, 19:40, 27th June 2003:

I'm pretty sure it was in Swindon where a couple of grannies tried hustle me and my mate chris at a game of cards (of which I cant remember) and where an 8 year old girl stole my baseball cap. Oh and I stole the pub's deck of cards because I'm rock.
Posted by gobbo, 19:50, 27th June 2003:

well if i get the job in Swindon ill take a baseball bat and retrieve the missing cap and use it to defend myself against the grannies!
Posted by ell, 00:31, 28th June 2003:

Yay for the Reading people! I'm from half way between Reading and Guildford.
Posted by gobbo, 08:44, 28th June 2003:

well its a well known fact that people from this area are much better looking than elsewhere in the country...
Posted by cal, 14:09, 30th June 2003:

have you finished uni now ell? i haven't really been keeping up :D

oh, and becky got a 2:1. woo!
Posted by ell, 23:42, 3rd July 2003:

Whoah, grats Bex if you're reading this! What in?

No Cal, I'm just going into year 3 (my last)

Gobbo: Very true. :D

And everyone who said anything about Reading being shit expensive was right. You've got to feel sorry for the poor, cheated students there who can spend all their loans in one night at one bar, and not have enough change for the taxi home.

becky did english language at central lancashire (preston)
