In reality, there are only two types of people in the world, which can be demonstrated by this question.....

Kate Bush: Yay or Nay?
Posted by chay, 14:25, 4th July 2003:

shouldnt that be Yay or Neigh (like a horse)
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:27, 4th July 2003:

No. Must Try Harder Chay.

Answer the question.
Posted by chay, 14:39, 4th July 2003:

I can't remember what she looks like.
and i don't know what she is like generally.
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:40, 4th July 2003:

(it's a music question, mainly, but if you want to include looks, it's up to you)
Posted by chay, 14:50, 4th July 2003:

oh i see.

well if its music we are talking about then:

Yay.

(She did Wuthering Heights right?)

sorry i thought it was a "would you wouldnt you nudge nudge wink wink" question
Posted by beargod, 14:51, 4th July 2003:

I know the name and recognise the face but can't remeber the music
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:52, 4th July 2003:

Yay! Chay can join the cool gang!
Posted by chay, 14:53, 4th July 2003:

On the other siiiide from you

Posted by arsepuppy, 14:55, 4th July 2003:

(There are 5 people in the cool gang so far, the rest will have to suffer in the knowledge that they suck)
Posted by beargod, 14:55, 4th July 2003:

oh withering heights girl then yay, I could only find sites saying something about hounds
Posted by arsepuppy, 14:57, 4th July 2003:

6 people!
Posted by beargod, 14:59, 4th July 2003:

I like the kool and the gang version of kung foo fighter more then the crappy rap version too, does that help?
Posted by arsepuppy, 15:01, 4th July 2003:

Rap version??
Posted by arsepuppy, 15:02, 4th July 2003:

Oh yeah, the recentish one.

(The original was Carl Douglas, not Kool and the Gang :) )
Posted by beargod, 15:12, 4th July 2003:

was it? I thought it was kool, I will have to find that one now, cos I don't think I have ever heard it
Posted by arsepuppy, 15:16, 4th July 2003:

It's the one everyone knows, probably the one you have too. Kool and the gang never did it (despite what some mislabelled mp3s on Kazaa may tell you)

Here's a list of everyone that's done it..

Posted by beargod, 15:58, 4th July 2003:

Posted by beargod, 16:00, 4th July 2003:

Kate Bush is f**king scary!

She's an odd bod!

I mean, in some ways, the format of "The Ultimate Question" is simply "x, yes or no?", which can never fail to divide the human population;

all it says is

either it is the case that person a likes kate bush
or it is not the case that person a likes kate bush

and therefore we could be asking;
lever arch files, yea or nay?

The Ultimate Question should be something more along the lines of "Tea or Cake", and therefore unique in it's ability to divide the human race without resorting to tautology.

Personally, Katie B is one wicked songstress. "Heathcliffe? It's me! Kathy! Come home! I'm so bloody cold!".

I was playing Wuthering Heights the other month, and my mum and dad said; "You're listening to Kate Bush? Are you on drugs or something?"

I think it was the most concerned they ever were about me being on drugs. Apart from the time they found loads of weed in my room. But Kate Bush came a close second.
Posted by arsepuppy, 11:34, 7th July 2003:

Chalk me up for the "Lever Arch Files: Yes" pile

cake or death?

oh dear we are all out of cake.
Posted by arsepuppy, 11:47, 7th July 2003:

*kicks Chay out of cool bus*

*declares amnesty on "green/special bus" jokes just incase he gets arsey*
Posted by arsepuppy, 11:47, 7th July 2003:

;p
Posted by chay, 11:52, 7th July 2003:

whats wrong with saying cake or death? :x
Posted by arsepuppy, 11:55, 7th July 2003:

Because people who dislike cake should be subjected to death, thus rendering the question pointless.
Posted by beargod, 11:57, 7th July 2003:

there really is no such person who dislikes cake is there? there is so many differetn types of cakes
Posted by Sul, 11:57, 7th July 2003:

I dont like cake

*runs off cool bus*
Posted by arsepuppy, 11:59, 7th July 2003:

What about Stella cake??

It comes in liquid form and is served in pint glasses.
Posted by Sul, 12:06, 7th July 2003:

Well in that case...

*jumps back on board*
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:12, 7th July 2003:

Mmmm Stella Cakes.....
Posted by chay, 12:13, 7th July 2003:

yeah but "cake or death" was an eddie izzard sketch. its absolutely classic.
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:15, 7th July 2003:

I know, but we are meant to be asking deep philosophical questions here, not quoting other people. Tsk.
Posted by beargod, 12:18, 7th July 2003:

is the human race round or flat?
Posted by arsepuppy, 12:19, 7th July 2003:

It's a moebius strip. A yellow one.
Posted by beargod, 12:21, 7th July 2003:

Posted by arsepuppy, 13:11, 7th July 2003:

Um... ok, question for the ladies...

Cut or Uncut? (not films btw)
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:11, 7th July 2003:

I'm asking dick-related questions. I've reached a new low.
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:13, 7th July 2003:

And for the lads..

Tit man or Leg man?
Posted by arsepuppy, 13:16, 7th July 2003:

White Dog Poo or Hedgehog Crisps?
Posted by Doctor Lucid, 13:18, 7th July 2003:

Oh my. The quest for knowledge.

I'm really really sorry. I've belatedly realised the horror of the "this or that" threads that weave themselves so cruelly around everything.

Good god. What have I done.

Death or Exile?
Posted by chay, 13:40, 7th July 2003:

both
