Catatonia - I am the Mob.
Catatonia - Don't need the sunshine.

beargod, 15:48, 10th July 2003:
LOL @ SUl
the lead singer can't sing and chay really put me off them at uni and I got put off Red Hot Chilli Peppers at uni too
Generation Sex was shite though.
Don't get me started on the bloody Chili Peppers. The Foo Fighters can suck I off as well. And Ash.

Regeneration is a great album :)
theres that song about all the things that have fallen out of pockets or gone missing over the years. i like that one
The Jam were awesome though.
The Jam - Down in the tube station at midnight.

the Jam Rock
Posted by
Sul, 15:53, 10th July 2003:
Chilli peppers are ok but all the songs sound the same. I think the foo fighters are great, maybe a bit over rated on some stuff but "all my life" was a great track and Chris Shifflet is in the gimme gimmes so thats the whole band saved :)
Posted by
Sul, 15:53, 10th July 2003:
The Jam do indeed rock!
Posted by
beargod, 15:54, 10th July 2003:
I think foos are cool, and yes they are overrated, but name someone musical that isn't in this day and age
Yeah, that one was OK, but normally the Foo's stuff doesn't do it for me at all.
BG, I could name a few. But I won't. So there.

Hi I'm Dan, and I liked the Style Council...
*sits down in embarrasment*
Posted by
Sul, 15:59, 10th July 2003:
Generally if people like a band
that much they will lose their objective opinion of them. Which is bad thing for most subjects really.
Posted by
beargod, 15:59, 10th July 2003:
ok sorry AP I can name Halo as a band that is definatly underrated.
BG: Who?? Not a skater band are they??
Posted by
Sul, 16:03, 10th July 2003:
nah. I'm saying that you can have an objective opinion of bands, literature etc. Which is the best way to be. Its the people who turn around and wont say a bad thing about any track, book, interview, drug overdose etc that sucks. It's not like you're their mum.
Posted by
beargod, 16:03, 10th July 2003:
Nope they are very cool, they sound better then what they make themselves look like, for instance on the first EP there was a dead pigeon with a halo around it, but the music is class
I often slag off bands etc. I like. Bit too cynical, me.
Which is why I was embarrased to admit I liked the style council.

Sul, 16:07, 10th July 2003:
Its better to be able to not just follow a band. I could step up to Alice Cooper and say, "Look mate, everything pre-1992 was good. Just leave it at that, you've had 20 years already"
The Jam - Going Underground.
Posted by
Sul, 16:08, 10th July 2003:
maybe I wouldnt say that to his face, but over the wonderful faceless internet I could say it as much as I like
Posted by
Sul, 16:08, 10th July 2003:
ahhh, The Jam again. Wonderful stuff.
Bloody hell, I've never heard of them before.
Bought "In The City" t'other day. Clarse.
The Jam - Thats entertainment.
Posted by
beargod, 16:12, 10th July 2003:
AP you should get the album, they are class
The Jam - tales from the riverbank.
The Jam - Town called malice.
Ian Brown - Dolphins were monkeys.
Cool. He used to live near me. Only met him twice though.
Victor Menendez - I'm off home now, see you all later.

(here) you go, way too fast
don’t slow down you’re gonna crash
you should watch, watch your step
don’t look out, gonna break your neck
so shut, shut your mouth
cause I’m not listening anyhow
I had enough, enough of you
enough to last a lifetime through
so what do you want of me
got no words of sympathy
and if I go around with you
you know that I’ll get messed up too
with you
na na na na na na na na na na ah
na na na na na na na na na na ah
(here) you go way too fast
don’t slow down you’re gonna crash
you don’t know what’s been going down
you’ve been running all over town
so shut, shut your mouth
cause I’m not listening anyhow
I had enough, enough of you
enough to last a lifetime through
so what do you want of me
got no cure for misery and if I go around with you
you know that I’ll get messed up too
with you, with you, with you
na na na na na na na na na na ah
slow down you’re gonna crash
[repeat and fade]

I may as well hand my cock in right now, but "Like I Love You" was a wicked tune. Mainly because of the production, which was quality.

your talking about the michael jackson wanna be?
Ha! i'm with you AP (again)
Texas - Summer son.
The song was originally written for Jacko, but he turned it down, instead opting for material by out-of-favour ex spice girls producer Rodney Jerkins and R Kelly. D'oh! Career down loo.
In fact, the Neptunes haven't really made a shit tune IMHO.
hmm, michael jackson and r kelly together.
Spitroasting Culkin, I'd wager.
Texas - Black eyed boy.
Texas - Halo.
Belinda Carlisle - Circle in the sand.
Next you will be shouting fuckin Mariah!
Belinda Carlisle - Summer rain.
Foggy, don't mention THAT NAME. Any mention of old Tractor Tits may get poor old Gary a bit overexcited.
ok..but someone has to stop Vic..He is going wild with....just pish! Belinda Car-fuckin-lisle
I used to want to fuck old Belinda, back in the day. Still would now.
she doesnt look to good now a days. Very guant looking..
