Until have have been approved for membership, you can only post in the Introductions forum. If you come and say hello, and not act like an idiot, then you'll get approved and can start talking to everyone else.

I rest my case...

NOTE TO SELF: a semi-colon is not the same as a colon, especially when typing web addresses.

hi, what's all this about being "approved"?
How do I get "approved"?

Cal: I don't mean to be rude, but the amended text still doesn't seem terribly grammatical to me. Would suggest the following:

word's spelling and grammar engine, in strict mode, thinks it's fine. ha

it would like me to change "get approved" to "be approved" though

Fair enough. Pedantic and wrong - quite a combination ;-)
Just read a little oddly to me: guess it's a question of taste rather than grammar.
