I think someone might remember this kids programme? I was looking for the theme tune as an MP3 but am failing to find it. Can anyone help me locate it?? Thanks!!
type joe 90 theme tune mp3 into google, scroll down.
The spinny bit at the beginning used to scare the shit out of me as a kid. I had to leave the room when it was on :(

I was watching a Quincy the other day where Sam quit because he didnt believe Quincy's theory. It was a sad day.
(no way related to cartoons or icecream but there you go)
Posted by
chandler, 12:19, 15th July 2003:
he must have felt pretty strongly about it, to actually quit.
was Quincy proved to be correct in the end?

This site might be interesting to some of you.
I'll start you off with a downloadable episode of Dangermouse
www.aowz68.dsl.pipex.com/cartoons/danger...
Look around, there's lots of episodes of Bananaman, plus Count Duckula, Dogtanian and well see for yourself.
This is what the internet was made for :)

There is a bit in the first
m3tatweening -
www.l0ve.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/m3tatween0... where Sam gets pissy with the big Q.
Not sure what the protocol for posting pics is, this is over 400k anyway so I'll give you a linky to the particular segment I'm on about.
This will make more sense if you have a look at what m3tatweening is.
Why have episodes of quincy never involved the line "Oh fuck off Quincy, your a fucking coroner. now stop playing junior G-man and piss off back to your embalming fluids"?

Rosie, 12:57, 15th July 2003:
LOL!
My b/f calls me Quincy when I ask him what hes been up to...
Rosie: Hello Si. How was your day?
Simon: OK.
Rosie: Did you go to the bank like I'd asked you to?
Simon: Urrrrmmm...
Rosie: Well, did you?
Simon: FUCK OFF QUINCY! STOP ASKING ME QUESTIONS FFS.
Rosie: *evil look*

BUTTON MOON!
Argh! Noooo! I've got that damn annoying tune in my head! Damn you, Vic! Argh!
I used to love button moon when i was a wee nipper, long before the days when it became a franchise for student housing wall coverings.

Sul, 15:13, 15th July 2003:
Joe 90 had a far better theme tune
hides from AP's grouchy anti-nostalgia thuddery
What's "joe 90"? I think I"m eather too young, or in the wrong country... possibly both. I watched Tom and Jerry twice a day when I was little.

Fnord, 02:16, 16th July 2003:
It sounds like an AOL name now
Kate Thornton - "I remember Joe 90, it was brilliant, we used to, you know, sing the theme tune at school and everything"
Stuart Maconie - "Aah, Joe 90, yes it was like an electroclash Kes".

Phew, so glad we are all on the same wave length!! Thanks Vic, I will try to get it as soon as I have my new computer to do what the hell I want to on (one of which such things is listening to Joe 90). I've been in Africa with no TV for such a long time that access to such childhood memories has been a bit impossible. How I remember so fondly times I sat in front of the fire on a Saturday morning in England watching all these programmes!!! And thanks to Fnord for reminding me about Dangermouse!! Ha Ha, what a memory. Thanks y'all!!
