Leaping from tree to tree as they float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia.

Posted by Victor Menendez, 14:58, 22nd July 2003:

why, pray tell, are Quincy, Columbo and Petrocelli not on your list?
Posted by chandler, 15:02, 22nd July 2003:

"and all the other stuff"

i just got bored of listing them all :)
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:04, 22nd July 2003:

whats petrocelli? Never heard of it.
Posted by arsepuppy, 15:06, 22nd July 2003:

It's a kind of pasta.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 15:08, 22nd July 2003:

Petrocelli is a slightly tosserous lawyer with a conscience, he spurns financial gain and practices law in exchange for practical aid, such as new tyres for his trailer, a job lot of hovis, and blowjobs from desperate movie starlets.

(actually i made that last one up)
Posted by beargod, 15:10, 22nd July 2003:

Gary I had that problem too, but at least you got replies, the only one I got a reply from was the job I am working at now, I was going to start up a franchise driving instructer, then I realised I might have to work at that so I didn't
Posted by arsepuppy, 15:11, 22nd July 2003:

I've seen it I think.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 15:12, 22nd July 2003:

Ah, cheers Vic. And AP..wheesht.
Posted by chandler, 15:12, 22nd July 2003:

its like across between DM, Sherlock Holmes and Rainman

I think its great. and so it the theme tune :)
Posted by Victor Menendez, 15:20, 22nd July 2003:

Is it like 'Monkfish' with John Actor?
Posted by chandler, 15:23, 22nd July 2003:

not really no

I'm surprised you haven't seen it Vic, it's very good. and its funnier than even Diagnosis Murder. i think it's on on a Sunday evening at about 5pm, I haven't seen it for weeks though
Posted by Victor Menendez, 15:23, 22nd July 2003:

What are you "woo"ing for?? You didn't write it..
Posted by arsepuppy, 15:30, 22nd July 2003:

I've seen that.
Posted by chandler, 15:31, 22nd July 2003:

"How do you put a new spin on an old Sherlock Holmes formula? Elementary, my dear Watson. Cross a classic TV detective like Columbo with an obsessive-compulsive personality like Felix Unger from The Odd Couple, hire a great character actor like Tony Shalhoub to play him and you've got Monk -- a light delight and one of the best new dramas of the coming season."
Posted by chandler, 15:32, 22nd July 2003:

woo as in "see, other people think it's good too, I'm not mad"
Posted by chandler, 15:33, 22nd July 2003:

I was trying to entice Vicky towards Monk with a sentence containing the word Columbo
Posted by Victor Menendez, 15:44, 22nd July 2003:

Hmm, maybe i will watch one.

(i'd definitely be tuning in if they had called him Harry)
Posted by Gary, 15:52, 22nd July 2003:

Thanks, BG. I'm glad I'm getting replies/interviews etc. - I just need one of those replies to offer me a job and I'll be happy!

I hate my job as well. I've just walked in and everyone is ignoring me!

Its like being at school with all this bitchiness!

Can't wait till I run my own company.

:D
Posted by Sul, 09:38, 23rd July 2003:

Why are people ignoring you, Rosie? Are you wearing all sexy clothes and the fat-lasses are jealous?

I'm going down to the stock room to pretend to count my stock and make rude dymo labels...
Posted by arsepuppy, 09:46, 23rd July 2003:

Posted by beargod, 10:11, 23rd July 2003:

Ask chay :)
Posted by Rosie, 10:13, 23rd July 2003:

I've straightened my hair. Its about a foot longer than it was when it was curly, its nearly touching my bum!

I treated myself to a new conditioner yesterday and it cost £12.75. A bit expensive - but I felt like a treat.

PS: I've not lost any frigging weight - infact I think I've put some on! I weigh 9stone 1. I've still got terrible wind which is so bad it could burn the paint off the walls.

Whats everyone elses news then?
Posted by beargod, 10:14, 23rd July 2003:

ooooh I like long hair especially that long :)
Posted by arsepuppy, 10:18, 23rd July 2003:

What type of job are you looking for Gary?

I have a degree in Computing so anything in that field would do. To be honest, though, I've done a little bit of everything and not enough of one particular thing, so I'm not really specialised in one area.
Posted by beargod, 11:51, 23rd July 2003:

You can't be picky about your area in this day and age
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 11:53, 23rd July 2003:

Exactly BG.
Posted by ilovebeerme, 11:54, 23rd July 2003:

I had a good pick of my area last night. Bloody scabs.
Posted by Foghorn Leghorn, 11:58, 23rd July 2003:

Dont pick, it will only leave a scar.
Posted by ilovebeerme, 12:00, 23rd July 2003:

it's well scarred already, i just wish the weeping pus would clear up.
