Fantastic weekend. Top Sunday. But down to business: I have Mrs Bumdogs pen. If she would like it back where should I send it. I ended up being very drunk, please tell me I left my phone in that boozer we were in and one of you guys picked it up. Same question for the "Natasha" book.

And no fucking cabbie would take me back to Charing Cross as I was ringing wet. Bastards. Not sure how I actually managed it.

I have your phone and tabs.

Yeah, she was nagging me about her pen. Women, eh?

Where did you shoot off to? Me and Vic were looking for you.
Posted by Sul, 08:43, 7th August 2003:

I really dont know. I seem to remember telling you that I was going. Obviously thats not the case. I have vague recollections of chatting up some chick on the steps outside a bar she worked in - which is unlike me to be outside of a bar - and having a bit of an argument with a cabbie. Other than that I'm drawing a blank.

Fucking great day though.

Where does she want the pen sent? Its a lovely pen, I'd hate to have lost it.

KEEP IT NEAL!!!!11

Ok, cheers. It'll be a constant reminder of the day. :)

So where have you been for the last couple of days?
Posted by arsepuppy, 08:48, 7th August 2003:

I've been away from computers. I told Vic I'd be off for a while, by then you had disappeared with the Natasha book.
Posted by Sul, 08:51, 7th August 2003:

I lost the book :(

Perhaps the metro will publish a letter by me asking of its whereabouts.
Posted by Sul, 08:54, 7th August 2003:

But its more likely that its in the hands of an illiterate tramp
Posted by arsepuppy, 08:55, 7th August 2003:

Dammit Sul.
Posted by Sul, 09:09, 7th August 2003:

I know. I dont even remember any entries in it.
Posted by Victor Menendez, 09:11, 7th August 2003:

It was a good book, full of entries by people who's only interest was to Keep It Neal!
Posted by Sul, 09:14, 7th August 2003:

Bah I dont even remember the injoke :( Damn you sun

(it wasnt the shit loads of booze I drank, honest)
Posted by beargod, 09:46, 7th August 2003:

what is this about neal? Was Sul posing as a neal?
Posted by Victor Menendez, 09:47, 7th August 2003:

pah, don't try to hijack the in-joke, outsider. if you wanted to know, you would have kept it neal and got down to the flugtag.
Posted by arsepuppy, 09:50, 7th August 2003:

yeah!

Just remembered something else.. After we left you and Vic I ate shitloads at the Burger King at Paddington, most notably too much milkshake. The train back was going really fast (It was rattling and everyone was falling over), this led to me projectile vomiting pink sick everywhere. Nice.

Hot weather + Alcohol + Fuckloads of Burger King + Fast trains = Me sick.
Posted by beargod, 10:04, 7th August 2003:

thats quite a big equation
Posted by Sul, 10:10, 7th August 2003:

HAHAHAHA :D Nice one. Pink sick rocks!

How does this sound? (not sent yet)

Dear The Metro,

I am pleading for your help. On Sunday I attended the Red Bull Flug Tag in Hyde park and a fine day it was too. After the event finished my friends and I located a public house nearby and carried on the festivities by drinking beer. During this after-party I bugged everyone in the pub to write a random message on a single page in a small purple book I had with the name "Natasha" on the front. The purpose of this was to present the book to the object of my affections when she got back off holiday. What woman can resist a book with her name on the front, that's purple and full of random messages by random people? The problem is, you see, somehow I managed to lose the book and I am desperate to get it back.

So I ask for your help in my quest for love, Metro. I beg you to ask your readers if anyone remembers what the drunk, wet, skinny, annoying guy did with his little purple "Natasha" book.

Thank you for your time and I hope you can find it in your heart to help me.

Dan Sullivan

"his little purple "Natasha" book"

I cant help but think this is a subconscious euphemism.

Where's the resident proof reader gone?

Vic, whats wrong with my spelling and grammar? I dont want to look like a pleb in a free newspaper.
Posted by arsepuppy, 10:37, 7th August 2003:

Other than that, sterling work Alfie.
